Best NHL Player Prop Bets Today, Thursday Nov. 2Boone Jenner Center Boone Jenner was and still is the best skater and scorer on this Columbus Blue Jackets team. They’ll host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday who’ve been trying to find their stride defensively as they lost goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy who’s expected to miss the first two months of the season at least with a back injury. Goaltenders Jonas Johansson and Matt Tomkins have been filling in for the short term and Johansson has done a great job holding a .922 save percentage, however the Lightning's defense as a whole has been the problem. The Lightning allow the fourth most shots on goal to opposing skaters this season which is bad news for them as Blue Jackets’ Center Boone Jenner will exploit them on Thursday night. With 35 shots on goal through nine games Jenner has went over his current prop total in five of those nine games and will look to make it six on Thursday night.

The Pick: Boone Jenner over 3.5 shots on goal (+110)
Clayton Keller
Center Clayton Keller has been amazing for the Arizona Coyotes this season as he’s one of their top scorers and one of their top skaters. Coming off of a six shot on goal night against Anaheim on Wednesday night, Keller will face a Montreal Canadiens defense on Thursday night that is just as bad as they allow the fifth most shots on goal to opposing skaters. I know this is some steep juice but it's worth parlaying with another play as Keller has exceeded this prop total in seven out of his nine games so far this season.

The Pick: Clayton Keller over 2.5 shots on goal (-200)
Filip Forsberg Wingman Filip Forsberg was second on the team in goals last season for the Nashville Predators however, through nine games Forsberg finds himself with only one goal on the season. He’ll now get a Seattle Kraken team that he didn’t score against earlier in the year but was able to remain aggressive against getting five shots on goal. While Forsberg will look to get back on track against one of the worst defenses in the NHL in the Seattle Kraken he’ll definitely be able to be aggressive as the Kraken allow the second most shots on goal to opposing skaters this season. Forsberg has gone over his current prop total in six of his nine games and will look to make it seven on Thursday night.

The Pick: Filip Forsberg over 3.5 shots on goal (+105)
Brock Boeser Wingman Brock Boeser has been one of the surprise stars to arise for this emerging Vancouver Canucks team this season as he was fifth in goals for all skaters last season and currently leads all skaters with six goals so far this season. Through nine games Boeser currently sits in second for most shots on goal and rightfully so should be getting his looks as he’s been the most successful at finding the back of the net. Vancouver will travel to San Jose on Thursday night to face a Sharks team that allows the most shots on goal to opposing skaters this season. Look for Vancouver and Boeser to take full advantage of this on Thursday night. While Boeser has only exceeded his current total in four out of nine games, he’ll reach it tonight against the Sharks.

The Pick: Brock Boeser over 2.5 shots on goal (-111)
