Best NHL Player Prop Bets to consider for Tuesday, April 10

Connor Bedard Rookie sensation Connor Bedard has been everything and more for the Chicago Blackhawks this season. Quickly growing up in front of hockey fans’ eyes, Bedard has become one of the game’s most lethal offensive players in a very short time. Some rookies don’t live up to the hype, but this kid does. While Bedard has been quiet from a goal-scoring standpoint recently, on Wednesday he gets to face a St. Louis Blues team that struggles on defense and is allowing the NHL’s eighth-most shots on goal per game this season. Bedard has gone over his current prop total of 3.5 shots in three of his last four games. He’ll go over it again on Wednesday night for the fourth time in five games.

The Pick: Connor Bedard over 3.5 shots on goal (+100)
Connor Bedard (again)
Only three NHL games are scheduled for Wednesday night, and I already provided a full breakdown of the Edmonton-Vegas matchup, so I’m going back to the well with Bedard because I expect him to have a big game against St. Louis. As mentioned already, St. Louis really struggles in its own zone, and Bedard found the back of the net the last time he played the Blues. I expect him to do it again on Wednesday, even though Bedard has just two goals in his last 10 games. He’ll get back to scoring in St. Louis, however, as he looks to start a new streak.

The Pick: Connor Bedard anytime goalscorer (+155)
Brock Boeser Vancouver winger Brock Boeser has been a force for the Canucks throughout this season, and he is a big reason why his team has been so successful on offense. Boeser and the Canucks are set to host an inferior Arizona team on Wednesday night, and they will certainly take advantage of the visiting Coyotes. Boeser has yet to score against Arizona this season, but the fact that the Coyotes allow the NHL’s eighth-most goals per game this season is a very good sign as far as Boeser finding the net in this game. He has scored three times in his last five outings and should get another goal Wednesday night at home.

The Pick: Brock Boeser anytime goalscorer (+140)
Elias Pettersson Center Elias Pettersson has been one of the field generals for the Vancouver Canucks in 2023-24, and he’s been the perfect setup man for this team. Ranking third on the Canucks with 54 assists, Pettersson has had a helper in three consecutive games and will look to continue that streak on Wednesday night. Vancouver is going to score -- and score a lot -- against an inferior Arizona Coyotes defense on Wednesday night, and Pettersson will likely assist on at least one of those goals. While he often likes to be the guy shooting the puck -- leading his team in shots on goal this season -– a lot of his potential scoring chances end up being converted by other players because Pettersson draws so much focus whenever he is near the net.

The Pick: Elias Pettersson 1+ assists (-138)
