Best NHL Player-Prop Bets to consider for Tuesday, March 12

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen Goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and the Buffalo Sabres will have a tough task on their hands Tuesday night when the Detroit Red Wings come to town. Detroit will bring the sixth best offense in the NHL to Buffalo where the Sabres will have to find a way to respond. Luukkonen has done well in goal this season long posting a .915 save percentage. So, with the Red Wings likely to get a lot of shots on goal against this mediocre Sabres defense, look for Luukkonen to have a big night in net.

The Pick: Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen over 25.5 saves (-118)
Owen Tippett The Philadelphia Flyers have turned a corner this season and one of the reasons behind that has been wingman Owen Tippett. The Flyers will host an inferior San Jose Sharks team on Tuesday night that Philadelphia will look to take advantage of. Tippett has exceeded his current prop total in just two out of his last five games, but facing a Sharks defense that allows the most shots on goal per game certainly tips the scales in Tippett and the rest of the Flyers skaters favor. Look for Tippett to lead the way for Philadelphia on Tuesday night as he’ll be very aggressive against this weak Sharks defense.

The Pick: Owen Tippett over 3.5 shots on goal (-110)
Connor Bedard Center Connor Bedard has been a little quiet on the goal scoring side of things since returning from injury for the Chicago Blackhawks. While he’s scored just four goals since returning from injury, he’s scored several points as he’s been the glue guy for this Chicago team this season. Chicago will take on the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night and this will be a true winnable game for Chicago. With the home crowd backing him, look for Bedard to find the back of the net and help lead Chicago to another victory on Tuesday night.

The Pick: Connor Bedard anytime goalscorer (+140)
Jack Eichel The Vegas Golden Knights desperately needed Jack Eichel back in their lineup as their season was starting to spiral out of control with all of their injuries. They did make a splash at the trade deadline acquiring Tomas Hertl from the San Jose Sharks, but with Hertl not expected to suit up until the end of March, Eichel will have to continue to put Vegas on his back. With three assists against Detroit on Saturday, Eichel played a pivotal role in their 5-3 win. With a road game in Seattle on Tuesday night expect Eichel to remain aggressive and find the back of the net for the first time since returning from injury.

The Pick: Jack Eichel anytime goalscorer (+140)
