With 10 games on tap, Tuesday night’s NHL slate will be one to watch. We’ll see some elite offenses going head-to-head, as well as rookie sensation Connor Bedard’s Chicago Blackhawks hosting the Anaheim Ducks in a battle of two teams in the running for this year’s No. 1 draft pick. On the other end of the spectrum, we’ll see if the defending Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights can buckle down defensively and get back on track at Seattle. With so many games to choose from, let’s dive in and identify four notable wagering opportunities.

Best NHL Parlay Picks Tonight – Tuesday, March 12, 4-Leg Parlay Picks (+366) Arizona Coyotes vs. Minnesota Wild Prediction and Pick

Pulling a goalie in overtime is risky business, but I loved seeing the aggressiveness from Minnesota in OT against Nashville on Sunday, when the Wild pulled Marc-Andre Fleury for an extra attacker to make it a 4-on-3 affair in the offensive zone. The move paid off, resulting in Matt Boldy’s game-winning goal just 20 seconds after Fleury left the ice. The Wild, who have won three of their last four games to move within six points of a playoff spot, will look to continue their recent success on Tuesday against an Arizona Coyotes team that Minnesota has already beaten in two of three matchups this season. Arizona has lost three of its last four games and is starting to fizzle out of the 2023-24 NHL season. Since the Wild are still on the outside looking in when it comes to a wild-card playoff berth, this is exactly the type of game they can’t afford to lose. Give me a desperate Minnesota team to get the win at home on Tuesday night.

Leg-1 Parlay Pick: Minnesota Wild ML (-190)
Anaheim Ducks vs. Chicago Blackhawks Prediction and Pick

I have been taste-testing the Chicago Blackhawks’ Kool-Aid all season long – largely because I am really impressed with rookie sensation Connor Bedard’s stellar play that can literally change an entire game. While Bedard has already shown that he can consistently score at hockey’s highest level, he has also shown that he can set up teammates. In other words, Bedard is a player who makes others better when he is on the ice.  While the Blackhawks are, of course, still a year or two away from being a playoff contender, they can certainly compete right now against the NHL’s cellar-dwellers. Indeed, Chicago just beat the Arizona Coyotes by three goals twice in the month of March. The Blackhawks won their first 2023-24 game against Anaheim 1-0 on Dec. 7, and I think that they can win again at home on Tuesday night. However, I’m going to play it safe here and take the Blackhawks on the adjusted puck line just to be sure.

Leg-2 Parlay Pick: Chicago Blackhawks +2.5 (-600)

Colorado Avalanche vs. Calgary Flames Prediction and Pick

The Calgary Flames have been very inconsistent this season. In some games, they have looked amazing, while in other games they have looked like one of the worst teams in the NHL. Most of Calgary’s inconsistency has been in the offensive zone. The Flames can erupt for five goals one night and then score just once in their next game, which is a big reason why this team is barely over .500. In two earlier games against Colorado this season, Calgary lost both times. After falling to the Avs 3-1 in Denver on Nov. 25, the Flames were much more competitive in the Dec. 11 rematch at Ball Arena. Colorado managed to win that game 6-5, but Calgary had led 5-3 after two periods. In any case, the Avalanche have the best offense in hockey. They also have one of the NHL’s best players leading the way in Nathan MacKinnon. Look for Colorado’s top-tier offense to propel the Avs past the Flames on Tuesday night.

Leg-3 Parlay Pick: Colorado Avalanche ML (-175)
Vegas Golden Knights vs. Seattle Kraken Prediction and Pick

The Vegas Golden Knights have been bit by the injury bug, and the absence of key players has certainly been affecting them. Entering Tuesday night’s game against the Kraken in Seattle, the Golden Knights have gone just 3-6-1 in their last 10 games, and their defense has been awful. While injuries have certainly contributed to the defending Stanley Cup champions’ recent struggles, most of the team’s defensemen have remained healthy. The Golden Knights are coming off a 5-3 home victory over Detroit on Saturday – a game in which Vegas slowed down a Red Wings offense that ranks sixth in the NHL in goals per game. Golden Knights center Jack Eichel has returned to the lineup and reminded everyone just how important he is to this team by assisting on three of the five Vegas goals against Detroit. There’s no question that the Knights’ defense has been their problem during their recent slide, but they did bounce back against Detroit on Saturday and should continue their defensive improvement against a Seattle team averaging only 2.71 goals per game – the fifth-worst mark in the NHL this season.

Leg-4 Parlay Pick: Vegas Golden Knights ML (-150)
