College Basketball is finally back and the season is under way. There are many new faces in new places because the transfer portal has brought an entirely new dimension to the offseason. We have a very impressive set of games scheduled for Wednesday night, headlined by a matchup between Texas and Marquette. There is a ton of betting value to be found here, so let’s dive in!

Best College Basketball Parlays Today - Wednesday, Dec. 6:  4-Leg Parlay Picks (+948)

St. Bonaventure vs. Niagara Odds, Spread, Over/Under, Moneyline - College Basketball Odds 12/6

Moneyline: Sr. Bonaventure -400, Niagara +310
Spread: Sr. Bonaventure -8.5 (-105), Niagara +8.5 (-115)
Total: Over/Under 134.5

St. Bonaventure vs. Niagara Prediction and PickThe St. Bonaventure Bonnies made out like bandits in the transfer portal with the addition of guard Charles Pride. This is arguably one of the best transfer acquisitions because Pride is among the nation’s most underrated scorers. He’s still settling in with his new teammates, but Pride and the Bonnies are going to be a team that no one wants to face in next year’s March Madness. Another talented Bonnies transfer is guard Mika Adams-Woods who, like Pride, is from Syracuse, N.Y. Their 1-2 punch, along with the addition of big man Chad Venning, a 6-foot-10 forward, makes St. Bonaventure a tough matchup for opposing coaches. Their Wednesday night opponents, the Niagara Purple Eagles, just aren’t very good. Niagara enters this matchup at 1-5 and has only been competitive in a few games so far this season. Meanwhile, St. Bonaventure is a very experienced team with only three sophomores and two freshmen on its roster. Look for the Bonnies to make life tough on the Purple Eagles early and never look back.

Leg-1 Parlay Pick: St. Bonaventure ML (-400)

Memphis vs. VCU Odds, Spread, Over/Under, Moneyline - College Basketball Odds 12/6

Moneyline: Memphis -140, VCU +120
Spread: Memphis -2.5 (-110), VCU +2.5 (-110)
Total: Over/Under 143.5

Memphis vs. VCU Prediction and Pick

The transfer portal did wonders for the 2023-24 Memphis Tigers team. All of Memphis’ top five scorers this season came through the portal – a major offseason achievement for head coach Penny Hardway. Only three of the five average double-digit scoring totals, but both senior guard Caleb Mills (8.3 PPG) and senior center Jordan Brown (6.1) have already shown they can answer the call when needed. Meanwhile, the VCU Rams have had a rollercoaster start to their season. VCU (4-4) suffered an opening-night loss to McNeese State, which is dominating the Southland Conference at 8-2 but was not a team that should have beaten the Rams, let alone been competitive against them. Losers of three of their last four games, the Rams host Memphis on Wednesday night. This is hardly a promising matchup for VCU, because it appears that this team’s season is already starting to spiral out of control. Memphis is experienced and deep with a roster that includes both of head coach Hardaway’s sons – Jayden and Ashton Hardaway. Jayden, a senior, is experienced, and Ashton, who is just a freshman, has already made a splash this season by scoring 17 points in a 71-67 win over Michigan. Look for Memphis to dominate VCU. The Tigers have real talent in their starting lineup, and their bench is a problem for opposing teams, too. Ashton Hardaway is starting to grow into the player that any son of a former NBA star might be expected to become. Give me the Tigers in a rout on Wednesday night.

Leg-2 Parlay Pick: Memphis ML (-140)

Texas vs. Marquette Odds, Spread, Over/Under, Moneyline - College Basketball Odds 12/6

Moneyline: Texas +290, Marquette -350
Spread: Texas +7.5 (-105), Marquette -7.5 (-115)
Total: Over/Under: N/A

Texas vs. Marquette Prediction and Pick

Texas vs. Marquette should be Wednesday night’s hottest ticket and the most-viewed college basketball game. It’s the No. 12 Longhorns visiting the No. 8 Golden Eagles, and it will likely feature nonstop action from the tip. Both teams can score efficiently and both like to push the pace. Texas’ average length of possession this season is 15.8 seconds, while Marquette’s is just 14.7. Texas is led by fifth-year senior Max Abmas, one of the top guards in the country, who came to Texas this year from Oral Roberts. Marquette is led by junior guard Kam Jones, an offensive force who joined the Golden Eagles as a freshman in 2021. While the line for this game’s total seems spot-on -- given how talented both teams are offensively -- the 7.5-point spread just doesn’t seem correct. Yes, Marquette is clearly one of the nation’s top teams, but Texas isn’t too far behind. The 6-2 Longhorns had a scare against Louisville a few weeks ago, but they have looked dominant apart from that game. Give me Texas and the points in this one, because I believe this team might even play spoiler.

Leg-3 Parlay Pick: Texas +7.5 (-105)

Pittsburgh vs. West Virginia Odds, Spread, Over/Under, Moneyline - College Basketball Odds 12/6

Moneyline: Pittsburgh -167, West Virginia +140
Spread: Pittsburgh -3.5 (-105), West Virginia +3.5 (-115)
Total: Over/Under: 138.5

Pittsburgh vs. West Virginia Prediction and Pick

West Virginia made a statement with its offseason transfer-portal acquisitions -- adding talent to a roster that features guard Kobe Johnson. The Mountaineers picked up forward Quinn Slazinski from Iona as well as former Syracuse center Jesse Edwards, who gained overseas experience during the summer against a group of NBA players that included Nikola Jokic. This West Virginia team is very underrated. Although it has taken some time for these players to come together in the wake of so much transfer-portal activity, the 3-4 Mountaineers have battled in their losses. Look for West Virginia to handle a Pittsburgh team that will struggle in the ACC this season, because these Panthers have already struggled against every major-conference opponent they have faced so far.

Leg-4 Parlay Pick: West Virginia ML (+140)
