NBA Player Prop Bets Today for Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023.

If your eyes still work properly after seeing all those special In-Season Tournament courts spread across the NBA on Tuesday night, consider yourself fortunate. Adam Silver is letting us all know that NBA courts can be painted very quickly and very colorfully, which for now is his 2023-24 season legacy.

We have a heavy schedule of eight games on Wednesday, highlighted by an ESPN doubleheader of Boston vs. Philadelphia and Sacramento vs. the Los Angeles Lakers. The hottest team (other than Houston) that no one is talking about, the Minnesota Timberwolves, are playing, too.

That gives us plenty of player props to pick from, and we are going with the guys who have really been going in recent games.

So let’s go …

Best Boston vs. Philadelphia Player-Prop Bets Today

Joel Embiid to record a triple-double

Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid is coming off a loss to the Indiana Pacers in which he scored 39 points with 12 rebounds and went 17-for-17 on free throws. We will keep that in mind the next time he plays against Myles Turner. Embiid had 37 points and 13 rebounds in the previous game against Indiana, and he had 33 points and 16 rebounds last Friday against Detroit. That makes eight consecutive double-doubles for the reigning MVP, who has supplanted Luka Dončić as the league’s leading scorer. His season-high for assists is eight, which we expect him to eclipse tonight when he gets double-teamed by Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford.

The Pick: Joel Embiid to record a triple-double (+1300)

Jayson Tatum to score 35+ points

Jayson Tatum reached 35 points on Monday night by scoring 17 fourth-quarter points against the New York Knicks in a lopsided fourth quarter that showed the vast difference between the two teams. Tatum has now gone for 34 and 35 in his two games against New York. However, the team that gets him revved up the most is the conference rival 76ers, and you can bet your bottom dollar that he is aware of Joel Embiid’s place atop the scoring leaders. (Tatum is 10th at 28.4 points per game). So, we can expect an epic fourth quarter in which Tatum and Embiid try to carry their teams offensively, and Embiid will be forced to pass more than Tatum will because the 76ers do not double-team as much.

The Pick: Jayson Tatum to score 35 or more points (+350)

Jaylen Brown over 3½ assists

Boston’s Jaylen Brown had six assists against the Knicks on Monday night and he has had at least four dimes in four of his last six games. Given what we expect from Jayson Tatum, we would not be surprised to see the NBA’s highest-paid player ($305 million contract) get four of them on Wednesday in the fourth quarter alone. Also, Brown is going to want to atone for an 11-point outing when these teams met last Wednesday – a game the Celtics lost 106-103 on the road.

The pick: Jaylen Brown over 3½ assists (+170)

Jayson Tatum over 1.5 steals

The last time these teams played, Jayson Tatum had three steals, which came one game after he had five against Minnesota. Tonight, knowing that the Celtics are going to force Joel Embiid to pass out of double-teams, look for Tatum to anticipate where at least two of those passes are headed and to pick them off. This is an enticing line for a somewhat each-to-reach stat.

The Pick: Jayson Tatum to record at least two steals (+265)
