Friday night lights take their turn to the basketball court as there are four great WNBA games ahead of us. All eyes are set to be on the Las Vegas Aces and the Dallas Wings as the Wings nearly handed the Aces their second loss of the season on Wednesday night. And it won’t stop there as the Napheesa Collier and Brittney Griner will take center stage to see which one is the true top five scorer in the WNBA this season as they’ll look to break their tie on their regular season series. So let’s dive into the action!

Best WNBA Expert Picks Against the Spread Today – Odds, Picks, and Predictions for Friday, July 7thAtlanta Dream vs Chicago Sky Odds, Spread, Moneyline, Over/Under – WNBA Betting Lines 7/9

Moneyline: Atlanta Dream ML (-105), Chicago Sky ML (-115)
Spread: Atlanta Dream +1.5 (-120), Chicago Sky -1.5 (+100)
Total: Over/Under 170.5

Atlanta Dream vs Chicago Sky Prediction and Pick

The loss of Candace Parker has certainly brought its own set of struggles and adjustments for the Chicago Sky this season. Not having Isabelle Harrison, who came over from the Dallas Wings this off-season, has presented additional problems for the Sky as her presence down-low and scoring boosts this Sky team. As for the Atlanta Dream, they’ve appeared to turn a corner this season entering this Friday night matchup on a three game winning streak. The Dream won the first meeting easily against the Sky 83-65. Though if you really watched that game, the Sky had a horrendous first half and in the second half it was competitive. The Dream lead the WNBA in pace and also lead the WNBA in percentage of points off of free throws. Or in simpler terms, they get a bulk of their points off of free throws. In their first matchup against the Sky they went 18 of 24 from the free throw line. Look for the Sky to flip the script on Friday as they’ll look to defend their homecourt and keep the Dream off of the free throw line. The Sky play at one of the slowest paces in the WNBA. If the Sky control the tempo and keep the Dream off of the free throw line then they’ll win this game on Friday night.

The Pick: Chicago Sky -1.5 (+100)

Las Vegas Aces vs Dallas Wings Odds, Spread, Moneyline, Over/Under – WNBA Betting Lines 7/9

Moneyline: Las Vegas Aces ML (-500), Dallas Wings ML (+370)
Spread: Connecticut Sun -8.5 (-120), Minnesota Lynx +8.5 (+100)
Total: Over/Under 174.5

Las Vegas Aces vs Dallas Wings Prediction and Pick

The Dallas Wings had the Las Vegas Aces on the ropes Wednesday night when they were just a quarter away from handing the Aces their second loss of the season. While most may think it was a fluke and that the Aces will bounce back on Friday night with a big win, I would pump the brakes on that analogy. This game opened at Las Vegas -10.5 and is already down to -8.5. The Wings had a bad second half and it wasn’t due to the Aces second best defense in the WNBA either. The Wings failed to capitalize on numerous easy opportunities and left the door open for the defending champions. The presence of Teaira McCowan down low for the Wings opens up so much for their offense and protects the paint on the opposite end on defense. Arike Ogunbowale and Satou Sabally had two of their worst games for the Wings this season and yet they only lost by seven in a game in which they controlled for three quarters. This Aces team is loaded but the Wings have the firepower to remain competitive again in this game on Friday night.

The Pick: Dallas Wings +8.5 (+100)

Indiana Fever vs Seattle Storm Odds, Spread, Moneyline, Over/Under – WNBA Betting Lines 7/9

Moneyline: Indiana Fever ML (-120), Seattle Storm ML (+100)
Spread: Indiana Fever -1.5 (-110), Seattle Storm +1.5 (-110)
Total: Over/Under 163.5

Phoenix Mercury vs Minnesota Lynx Prediction and Pick

The Mercury and the Lynx will meet for the third time this season on Friday night. With the season series tied at 1-1, the Mercury will face the Lynx for the first time without Diana Taurasi, who’s out due to rest. While Brittney Griner will be a matchup nightmare for this Lynx team again on Friday night as she had 19 points and 8 rebounds in their first matchup and 23 points and 5 rebounds in their second matchup, unfortunately the Mercury will need more than Griner to beat the Lynx on Friday night. Napheesa Collier has been on a tear this season as she’s the third leading scorer in the WNBA entering Friday night and will look to lead the Lynx to their fifth straight victory. While the Mercury, especially Griner, have done a great job containing Collier in their first two matchups, she’s just too good of a player to get silenced again. Look for Collier to lead the Lynx to a victory on Friday night.

The Pick: Minnesota Lynx -4.5 (-115)
