The winner of this tie will be the favorite to go into the final and beat either AC or Inter Milan, depending on which side wins the second semi-final meeting.

The first leg was played out in Madrid on May 9th, with the home side taking the lead through an outstanding strike from Brazilian Vinicius Jr. Manchester City had their struggles trying to contain Vinicius Jr’s speed and skill on the ball, and Benzema had a couple of opportunities to score for Madrid.
