Best NHL Player-Prop Bets Today: November 25th, 2023 Jesper Bratt The struggling New Jersey Devils need to start putting wins on the board after dropping three straight games and six of their last seven. While it’s still early in the season, and injuries have been a big reason for the Devils’ slow start, New Jersey certainly has enough talent on its roster to be much better than a seventh-place team in the Metropolitan Division. On Saturday night, the Devils will face a Buffalo Sabres team that ranks in the middle of the NHL pack in just about every category this season. The Sabres are also playing without injured star forward Tage Thompson, so the outcome of this game is definitely in New Jersey’s hands. While Devils superstar Jack Hughes is always the focal point of his team’s offense, linemate Jesper Bratt has been a strong second fiddle for New Jersey. Bratt had six shots on goal and Hughes had eight in Friday’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Look for that same aggressiveness in the offensive zone on Saturday night because New Jersey is desperate for a win.

The Pick: Jesper Bratt over 2.5 shots on goal (-125)
Cam Atkinson Winger Cam Atkinson has continued to shine for the Philadelphia Flyers this season as he is tied for second on the team with eight goals and ranks fourth in scoring with 14 points. Expect to see a heavy dose of Atkinson when the Flyers visit the New York Islanders on Saturday night. Philadelphia’s offense will have to keep the pressure on the Islanders, because Flyers No. 1 goalie Carter Hart is getting a night off after facing the Rangers on Friday. Atkinson has hit his current shots-on-goal prop total in three of his last four games and will look to make it four out of five on Saturday night. The Islanders allow the NHL’s second-most shots on goal (behind San Jose) this season, so Atkinson should be able to feast in this one.

The Pick: Cam Atkinson over 2.5 shots on goal (-138)
Nathan MacKinnon There is no debating the fact that Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon is one of the NHL’s top players. The Avalanche have the NHL’s third-best scoring output, and MacKinnon is a big reason for it. Playing the second game of a back-to-back set on Saturday, Colorado will look to MacKinnon to get things going against the Calgary Flames. The Avs have a real opportunity to explode against Flames backup goaltender Dan Vladar, who gives up nearly four goals per game and has a low save percentage at .868 percent. MacKinnon hasn’t scored since Nov. 9, but that will change on Saturday night when he puts one in the back of the net.

The Pick: Nathan MacKinnon anytime goalscorer (-112)
Jack Eichel November has been an awful month for the Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights, who will look to get back on track at home against Arizona on Saturday. One reason it has been such a tough month for the Knights is their lack of scoring. Vegas has remained aggressive with high shots-on-goal totals, but this team hasn’t been able to capitalize on its opportunities. Given how eager Vegas is to get back to winning, I expect center Jack Eichel to take the pressure off his teammates and come through against the Coyotes. Eichel has scored two goals over his last five games. Look for him to come out flying on Saturday night, because timely Eichel goals are exactly what Vegas needs to get back to winning on a regular basis.

The Pick: Jack Eichel anytime goalscorer (+125)
