Date: Saturday, Sept. 23
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
TV Channel: CBS

This weekend, the Ole Miss Rebels travel to Bryant-Denny Stadium to go up against an Alabama Crimson Tide team that has already encountered a significant number of challenges early in the season.

Let’s break down the matchup and make a prediction for this game.

Ole Miss Rebels vs Alabama Crimson Tide Odds, Spread, Over/Under, Moneyline - College Football Odds Week 4

Moneyline: Ole Miss Rebels +210, Alabama Crimson Tide -264
Spread: Ole Miss Rebels +6.5 (+100), Alabama Crimson Tide -6.5 (-120)
Total: Over/Under 55.5

Ole Miss at Alabama Preview

By its own standards, Alabama’s football team has looked really poor this season. The quarterback situation is a problem, and it feels as if the Crimson Tide are trying to force Jalen Milroe into a system in which he’s not quite comfortable.

We know what Jalen Milroe is. He's a tall quarterback who excels at running and making plays while on the move. However, he struggles in traditional spread offense formations, where the defense can tell that a pass play is coming. This weakness affects his accuracy under pressure.

Milroe was benched against South Florida last Saturday, and the Alabama offense appeared no better off without him. Head coach Nick Saban used a combination of Tyler Buchner and Ty Simpson at QB, but neither looked great in Milroe’s absence. Two days later, Saban announced that Milroe would be back in the starting role against Ole Miss.

In contrast to Milroe, Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart has looked better than what some people expected to see from him this season, and while he also has his imperfections, he seems to be the far better quarterback heading into this weekend's game.

Dart has a high ceiling in Lane Kiffin’s offense, and one must imagine that if he puts on a great show against Alabama on Saturday, the rest of the nation will start taking him very seriously.

Ole Miss needs to do a better job protecting their QB, however, since Dart was under heavy pressure in his team’s Week 2 game against Tulane.

The Rebels are also dealing with a couple of key injuries this week, as question marks surround the status of both running back Quinshon Judkins and wide receiver Tre Harris.

Harris sat out last week’s game against Georgia Tech, while Judkins went down in that game and struggled to come back following the injury.

Ole Miss vs Alabama Predictions and Pick

This is a tough matchup for both teams. They both have question marks on offense, so it seems that each team’s performance on defense will play a crucial role in determining the outcome. There is the potential for a breakout game from Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart, while Alabama QB Jalen Milroe will also have opportunities to prove himself. However, given everything under consideration, I lean toward taking the under in this contest.

The Pick: Alabama vs. Ole Miss Under 55.5 Points (-115)

College Football Season 2023
Colorado Buffaloes (3-0, 1-0 Away) vs Oregon Ducks (3-0, 2-0 Home)
Date: Saturday, Sept. 23
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Autzen Stadium at Eugene, Oregon
TV Channel: ABC
Live Stream: FuboTV

The Oregon Ducks host the media darling Colorado Buffaloes this weekend, and we can all bet that the Ducks fanbase will show up in the thousands with the hope of seeing their team spoil Colorado’s story.

The Buffs might be the underdog, but it’s not the first time they have been in that position this season, and head coach Deion Sanders is building one of the most unique programs in school history. We might only be three weeks into the season, but the future is very bright for the Buffaloes. Can they pull off an upset on the road against Bo Nix and Co.?

Colorado Buffaloes vs Oregon Ducks Odds, Spread, Over/Under, Moneyline - College Football Odds Week 4

Moneyline: Colorado +800, Oregon -1400
Spread: Colorado +21.5 (+100), Oregon -21.5 (-120)
Total: Over/Under 69.5

Colorado at Oregon Preview

This is a matchup college football fans are eager to see this weekend. Deion Sanders’ new job as Colorado’s head coach has sparked great national interest, and the 3-0 Buffs now travel to Oregon as a 21-point underdog for the second time this season.

There’s no doubt that Oregon presents more of a challenge than TCU did in Week 1, and that game was still close. Coach Prime will have his work cut out here on the road, and he’ll be without one of his most influential players on both sides of the ball.

Travis Hunter, who plays both cornerback and wide receiver, went down last weekend following a late hit by Colorado State -- a hit that sparked national media attention. The young two-way star suffered a lacerated liver injury that sent him to the hospital after the game. Hunter will now miss several weeks as he works his way back to health. Without him, the Buffs are missing both a key target and one of their best cornerbacks.

Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders has proven to be one of the best clutch quarterbacks in college football this season, but he has had to put up a lot of yards and touchdowns to help Colorado win games. The young quarterback threw for 510 yards and four touchdowns against TCU, but his team only won by three points.

Oregon has been great on offense this season and put up 81 points against Portland State in Week 1. Quarterback Bo Nix has had three solid performances with very few errors and zero interceptions, and the Ducks’ run game has been a problem for opposing defenses so far this year.

The running back trio of Bucky Irving, Noah Whittington, and sophomore Jordan James wears down defenses, and Nix can also contribute to the rushing attack. As a team, Oregon has managed to run for 747 yards and 11 touchdowns through its first three games. Colorado is going to have some trouble slowing all of that down.

Colorado vs Oregon Predictions & Pick

Ultimately, I think Oregon pulls out the win as expected, but Deion Sanders is not going to let his team get humiliated, even against a top 10 opponent. I expect to see some points on both sides, and I’ll take the over for this one, which could be the most entertaining game of the week.

The Pick: Oregon vs. Colorado Over 69.5 Points (-110)

College Football Season 2023
Ohio State Buckeyes (3-0, 1-0 Away) vs Notre Dame Fighting Irish (4-0, 2-0 Home)
Date: Saturday, Sept. 23
Time: 7:30: p.m. ET
Venue: Notre Dame Stadium at Notre Dame, Indiana
TV Channel: NBC
Live Stream: FuboTV

The Fighting Irish have enjoyed a bright start to their 2023 season now that Sam Hartman, a transfer from Wake Forest, has come in to play quarterback. With Hartman’s expertise in the mix, the Notre Dame program is flying high offensively, and its defense is looking good, too.

Ohio State’s matchup against the Irish will present the first major test of quarterback Kyle McCord’s career as the Buckeyes’ starter. He’ll have to deal with what is bound to be a very loud atmosphere on the road in Indiana. Can Ohio State keep its undefeated streak alive, or will Notre Dame be improving to 5-0 this weekend?

Ohio State Buckeyes vs Notre Dame Fighting Irish Odds, Spread, Over/Under, Moneyline - College Football Odds Week 4

Moneyline: Ohio State -163, Notre Dame +135
Spread: Ohio State Buckeyes -3.5 (-105), Notre Dame Fighting Irish+3.5 (-115)
Total: Over/Under 55.5

The Buckeyes will be under a lot of pressure in this game, which feels like it will give head coach Ryan Day a chance to remind college football fans of his past success.

Of course, this season’s Buckeyes are still adjusting to life after C.J. Stroud. They’re 3-0, and Kyle McCord has been good so far since taking over the starting QB role.

On Saturday, the former five-star quarterback recruit will go up against a top 10 opponent for the first time. He’s got a wealth of very talented wide receivers, led by Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka, and a couple of talented running backs, including TreVeyon Henderson.

That said, Notre Dame’s defense presents the biggest challenge of McCord’s career to date, and that’s going to be the focus of this weekend's game.

There is no doubt that Notre Dame has finally found an elite-level quarterback. When he transferred to South Bend, Sam Hartman was already the ACC’s all-time passing leader. Now in his final year of NCAA eligibility, he’ one of the most experienced starters in the country and is running the Notre Dame offense with great efficiency.

The Irish running game has been superb. Some of these Notre Dame lineman will be playing on future Sundays in the NFL, and the team has a star running back in Audric Estime. The third-year back has amassed 521 rushing yards through his team’s first four games, which is the vast majority of Notre Dame’s 861 total yards on the ground. Estime is going to be a problem for the Buckeyes defense and will be a key focus of Ohio State’s front seven, which must slow him down if they expect to win.

The Notre Dame offense can produce at a high clip this week, but if the Irish secondary can't contain the Buckeyes wide receivers, then Notre Dame is not going to win.

Ohio State vs Notre Dame Predictions & Pick

While I respect the Fighting Irish and am a huge fan of Sam Hartman as a player, I feel like the Buckeyes will pull out a victory here with better talent and a greater amount of production on Saturday.

The Pick: Ohio State Buckeyes -3.5 (-105)
