NBA Player Prop Bets Today for Wednesday, Nov. 22.

The NBA schedule-makers were not messing around when they planned the final night of games prior to Thanksgiving, a day when they will cede the sports world to the NFL.

There are 28 teams in action on Wednesday night for a total of 14 games. In our world, that makes for some very interesting wagering opportunities – especially given some of the crazy results we have been seeing (along with those crazy court paint jobs) during the NBA In-Season Tournament.

The Minnesota Timberwolves sit atop the Western Conference, and the Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers are playing extraordinarily better than expected. On Tuesday night, the Pacers combined with the Atlanta Hawks to score 309 points, which was only the seventh time in NBA history that both teams scored at least 150.

In case you were wondering, the Indiana-Atlanta over/under was 253, meaning the over hit by 56 points. If you had something resembling that on the alternate spread line, enjoy your caviar on Thanksgiving while the rest of us eat turkey.

Indiana, averaging a league-high 128.1 points, is playing again on Wednesday night at home against Toronto with an over/under of 237½ as of early Wednesday morning. The Pacers have gone over in 10 straight games and 11 of 12 overall.

Lots to choose from tonight, so let’s have at it …

Best Raptors vs. Pacers Player-Prop Bet

Tyrese Haliburton, 30+ points

Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton knocked down nine 3-pointers on Tuesday night -- including seven in the third quarter alone -- to produce his second-highest point total of the season. If he keeps this up, he is going to get into the MVP conversation, where he is currently +8000 for a Pacers team that is sitting in sixth place in the East with an 8-5 record. The Pacers are playing a very mediocre Toronto Raptors team on Wednesday, and Haliburton could have 30 points by halftime if he eats the same food he ate before the Hawks game. The 35+ line is +800, but we will go with the +300 line because it is not good to be greedy.

The Pick: Tyrese Haliburton to score at least 30 points (+300)

Best Mavericks vs. Lakers Player-Prop Bet

Luka Dončić, Triple-Double

The last time Luka Dončić played the Lakers in Los Angeles was Jan. 22, when he hit game-tying 3-pointers at the end of both regulation and the first overtime in a 119-115 double-overtime victory over the Lakers. He finished that game with 35 points, 14 rebounds, and 13 assists. The Mavs are coming off a rest day, while the Lakers took apart the Jazz with ease on Tuesday night. Los Angeles was able to rest many of its best players late in that game, so both teams should be fresh for this 10:30 p.m. ET start. It’s the second game of an ESPN doubleheader, and the network will likely join it in progress following the conclusion of the Golden State-Phoenix game.

The Pick: Luka Dončić to record a triple-double (+400)

Best Rockets vs. Grizzlies Player-Prop Bet

Alperen Şengün, 30+ points

The second-year Turkish center was questionable prior to Monday night’s game at Golden State and then went out and dropped 30 points against a Warriors team that does not have a great defensive center. On Wednesday, Alperen Sengun goes up against a Memphis Grizzlies team that has more injuries than any other NBA squad and has been forced to use Bismack Biyombo at its starting center. Şengün is too quick and too athletic for Biyombo to handle, and we are looking for a second straight 30-point performance from Şengün, who is shooting 59 percent from the field and could become a nightly 30-plus producer is he can improve his 61 percent free throw shooting. He has taken only 46 free throws all season, and we expect Memphis to put him on the line a lot in this game. If he makes those free throws at a reasonable rate, the 30 points should come easily.

The Pick: Alperen Şengün to score at least 30 points (+700)

Best Wizards vs. Hornets Player-Prop Bet

Miles Bridges, 12+ rebounds

Charlotte’s Miles Bridges is back from a lengthy domestic-violence suspension and had a terrific game in an upset victory over the Celtics on Monday night when he grabbed 15 defensive rebounds, played 45 minutes, and hit the game-winning 3-pointer in overtime. He has been the missing piece for a Hornets team that is not terrific but also not terrible, and they are going up against a Washington Wizards team that has lost six straight, is 2-11, and would have the worst record in the entire NBA if not for the Pistons being 2-13. This line (+625) is generous and enticing.

The Pick: Miles Bridges to grab at least 12 rebounds (+625)
