Spurs vs. Suns Predictions and Picks

Revenge is a dish best served cold, as the expression goes. If you believe in that proverb, you should expect to see the much more experienced Phoenix Suns do a number on the young San Antonio Spurs tonight in the second half of an NBA TV doubleheader.

This is the second straight meeting of these teams, and Phoenix completely blew a sure-thing win two nights ago when the Suns allowed the Spurs to rally from a 20-point deficit. San Antonio was trailing by five points with 50 seconds left before pulling out an unlikely 115-114 win on Keldon Johnson’s bucket with two seconds left.

The final score was the Spurs’ only lead of the game, and it left both teams with 2-2 records heading into this rematch. The Suns remain the +600 second choice in the Western Conference behind Denver to capture this season’s NBA championship, while the Spurs are +15000.

Phoenix was missing Bradley Beal and Devin Booker two nights ago. Beal is listed as “out” with lower back tightness, while Booker is “doubtful” with a mid-foot strain.

So, once again Kevin Durant is going to be asked to shoulder most of Phoenix’s offensive burden, and the Spurs will again key on him defensively. Having learned our lesson two nights ago when the Spurs were coming off a 40-point road loss against the Clippers, we are adjusting accordingly.

Best NBA Same-Game Parlay Picks Today for Suns vs. Spurs – 3-Leg Parlay Picks (+500)

Victor Wembanyama blocks 3+ (+190)

The kid is 7-foot-4 and at some point is going to have a triple-double that includes 10 blocks. Victor Wembanyama has had at least three blocks in two of four games.

Leg-1 SGP Pick: Victor Wenbanyama to block at least three shots (+190).

Zach Collins blocks 2+ (+320)

San Antonio’s Zach Collins had three blocks Tuesday against the Suns, and he had two in the Spurs’ season-opener. He plays heavy minutes, and the Suns will be trying to force-feed Jusuf Nurkic to get offense from someone not named Kevin Durant.

Leg-2 SGP Pick: Zach Collins to block at least two shots (+190)

Keldon Johnson points 25+ (+475)

Keldon Johnson outscored Kevin Durant by one point in the last game. He’s offensive weapon No. 1 for a young Spurs team on which he is the grizzled veteran at 24.

Leg-3 SGP Pick: Keldon Johnson to score at least 25 points (+475)

Putting those three picks together does two things: It allows you to not focus on any Suns stats and results in a payoff of $510 on a $10 wager if it hits. Good luck!
