One thing we know for certain about Tuesday night’s Golden State at Sacramento play-in game on TNT: The television studio crew led by Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal will likely be wiped out from watching the Lakers-Pelicans game in the opener, and they are going to need to summon a little something extra.

Warriors vs Kings Prediction and Pick

So it goes when the real NBA season starts. Although play-in games are not officially postseason games and are not part of the regular season, they are something very special that have been around for four years.

What the NBA serves up on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday nights should be extraordinary. We have one game on Tuesday and one Wednesday night in which the loser goes home for the summer, and another two on Friday night that will produce the same result.

The first round of the NBA playoffs begins on Saturday, and we will not see another single-elimination game for at least another week. In terms of the rest of this postseason, there will not be a single win-or-else game for both teams unless a playoff series goes to seven games.

So, go with coffee in Game 1 and save the Taco Tuesday tequila for the nightcap. This is probably as good an NBA game night as we are going to have until we get closer to Memorial Day. The fact that Steph Curry is involved only makes it better.

Best NBA Same-Game Parlay Picks Today for Warriors vs. Kings – 4-Leg Parlay Picks (+45000)

Klay Thompson, 25+ points (+270)

Once upon a time, Klay Thompson was a weapon as part of the Splash Brothers. He then went into what appeared to be a season-long slump until April came around. After shooting under 35 percent from 3-point range in January, Thompson shot 43.7 percent from long distance in April and scored at least 25 points in three of the Warriors’ final four games.  The Kings will need to focus on Steph Curry and will have De’Aaron Fox glued to him, which will open up looks for Klay.

SGP-Leg 1: Klay Thompson to score at least 25 points (+270)

Warriors -2 ½ points (-125)

Golden State defeated Sacramento in seven games in last year’s first round, winning on the road in the final game. The Dubs are the more experienced team when it comes to playing elimination games, and at the very least should take this one down to the final buzzer – making this 2½-point line a safe parlay-builder. The teams played four games during the regular season, and three were decided by just one point. In the fourth meeting, the Warriors won on the road by eight.

SGP-Leg 2: Warriors – 2 ½ points (-125)

Chris Paul, 10+ assists (+850)

You remember this guy, right? The Warriors brought in CP3 to have a veteran point-guard presence in games such as Tuesday’s, and keeping him on the bench in his warm-ups would make no sense. Coach Steve Kerr has been saving Chris Paul for the big games all season long, and Tuesday offers a chance to show whether acquiring this 19-year NBA veteran was an astute move. This much we know: Paul has played in 149 career playoff games, and in his first postseason appearance last season with Phoenix, he had 10 assists vs. the Clippers. This is a big line for Paul doing something he has done many times before.

SGP-Leg 3: Chris Paul to have at least 10 assists (+850)

Domantas Sabonis, 12+ assists (+400)

The last time these teams played on Jan. 25, Domantas Sabonis had 13 assists. The Kings will go to him in the low post early and often and run their schemes through him, and Sabonis could be a triple-double lock if Draymond Green gets into foul trouble or loses his temper – both of which are realistic possibilities. Win or lose, Sabonis will be the best player on the court for Sacramento, and coach Mike Brown is not going to let his team to go home for the summer without having allowed his best player to do what he does best. Sabonis had at least 12 assists in 14 regular-season games.

SGP-Leg 4: Domantas Sabonis to have at least 12 assists (+400)

Putting those four picks together produces a same-game parlay with odds of +45000, meaning a $10 wager would return a whopping $4,510, and a $100 wager would return $45,100, which will get you to Northern California for the first round with a couple nice bottles of Napa wine no matter whether the next game involving these teams takes place in Sacramento or San Francisco. Good luck!
