Premier League matchday 4 is here, with multiple eye-popping matchups to get stuck into. There are several interesting Premier League fixtures this weekend at both ends of the table, and we’ve got soccer betting picks for you covering the weekend's action.

Manchester City are the only team in the league so far to have taken the maximum points from their first three games, and they’ll host Fulham in Week 4 at the Etihad Stadium with the hopes of making that 12 points from a possible 12.

West Ham made a statement last weekend against a high-flying Brighton side and now sit second in the table with seven points from their first three games. The Hammers visit newly promoted Luton Town on Friday to kick off the weekend slate and are the favorites to claim another three points on the road.

Sunday’s action is sure to produce fireworks, with Liverpool hosting Aston Villa at Anfield, and the late afternoon game being the talk of the weekend with Arsenal hosting Manchester United at the Emirates.

We’re getting into some Premier League score predictions and sharing our EPL best bets today, with three of the weekend's games featuring in our Week 4 parlay.

Sheffield United vs Everton Prediction and Pick

Everton were expected to struggle this season, but so far it’s been about as miserable as it gets for fans of the Toffees, who have zero points through the first three games and are yet to even score a goal.

Sheffield United haven’t fared much better and are also rooted to the bottom end of the table after three games with zero points themselves. At least they’ve scored a couple of goals though and will now host Everton with an opportunity to claim their first three points.

It might only be Week 4, but both of these teams need to win these types of games if they want to avoid the relegation scrap the last few weeks of the season. Beating the other teams in the league also facing relegation could create a little breathing space above the drop, so this should be a fun one despite the action coming from the bottom end of the table.

Everton are dealing with a lot of key injuries right now, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Dwight McNeil, Seamus Coleman, Alex Iwobi and Dele Alli all sidelined. The absence of some of their best talent makes the opening weeks of an already difficult campaign even tougher, and losing to Sheffield United this weekend would be crushing for team morale.

Sheffield United are facing multiple injuries too, and the depleted squad will continue to battle on without John Fleck, Rhian Brewster and Ismaila Coulibaly, as well as Max Lowe, Ben Osborn, and more.

So, with both sides having to dig deep, and three very important points on the line in an early matchup amidst Premier League relegation teams, this feels like a scrappy end to end game. The Sheffield United vs Everton stats line up well for both teams to score, with the two sides conceding 11 goals in the Premier League between them. While Everton are yet to score this season, you would hope they can at least find a goal against Sheffield United on Saturday.

Everton edge the EPL winner odds for this one, but I wouldn’t have enough confidence in backing either team to pull out a win right now, based on what we’ve seen from them early in the year.

The Pick: Both Teams to Score - Yes (-106)

Liverpool vs Aston Villa Odds & Spread – Premier League Betting Lines 3/9

3-way handicap: Liverpool -150 | Draw +333 | Away +333
Draw No Bet: Liverpool -350 | Aston Villa +230
Over/Under Goals: Over 2.5 (-236) | Under 2.5 (+175)
Double Chance:  Liverpool or Draw -450 | Draw or Aston Villa +115 | Liverpool or Aston Villa -450
Both teams to score: Yes -211, No +160
1st Goal: Liverpool -182 | No Goal +1600 | Aston Villa +150

Liverpool vs Aston Villa Prediction and Pick

Next up in our EPL predictions for this week is Liverpool's matchup at Anfield against Aston Villa, with both sides currently sitting inside the top seven after three games.

Liverpool have had a pretty rocky start to the Premier League season in 2023. They kicked off the campaign with a 1-1 draw with Chelsea, and then had a player sent off in each of their wins against both Bournemouth and Newcastle.

Jurgen Klopp’s side fell behind at home against Bournemouth but managed to mount a comeback despite losing Alexis Mac Allister in a controversial sending off. That decision was then reversed, only for star center back Virgil van Dijk to see red against Newcastle in the following week. Adding insult to injury, Van Dijk was then charged with improper conduct after an altercation with the fourth official before leaving the field.

Now suspended, Liverpool’s defense will be vulnerable against an Aston Villa side capable of doing a lot of damage in front of goal. They’ve scored 12 goals in all competitions through their last three games, including seven goals in their last two Premier League games against Everton and Burnley. Granted, Liverpool are a step up in competition, but the threat of Aston Villa attackers Ollie Watkins and Moussa Diaby going forward could be problematic for a Liverpool side missing their biggest influence on the defensive end.

I’m confident in betting on both teams to score in this one, although the over 2.5 goals is even more appealing considering the attacking prowess of these two teams combined. This one will be a great game for the neutrals, and I’ll add the over 2.5 goals to my free soccer picks for the weekend.

The Pick: Over 2.5 Goals (-236)

Arsenal vs Manchester United Odds & Spread – Premier League Betting Lines 3/9

3-way handicap: Arsenal -125 | Draw +300 | Away +280
Draw No Bet: Arsenal -275 | Manchester United +190
Over/Under Goals: Over 2.5 (-182) | Under 2.5 (+140)
Double Chance:  Arsenal or Draw -450 | Draw or Manchester United +100 | Arsenal or Manchester United -350
Both teams to score: Yes -182, No +140
1st Goal: Arsenal -167 | No Goal +1200 | Manchester United +150

Arsenal vs Manchester United Prediction and Pick

You can’t place a bet on the Premier League without considering this game this weekend. Arsenal’s matchup with Manchester United is going to be the game of the weekend, and one that could offer an early advantage to whichever team comes out on top in the hunt for Champions League football.

The Arsenal vs Manchester United history has been even over the past couple of seasons, splitting the last four meetings down the middle. There has been an average of 4.5 goals in those four games, so we could see another high scoring affair at the Emirates on Sunday.

The Gunners have managed seven points from their first three games and remain undefeated heading into Week 4. Manchester United have six points, having suffered a loss on their last visit to London against Tottenham a couple of weeks ago.

While United battled back to a 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend, it took going 2-0 down to ignite the starting 11, and a late red card and a penalty to eventually end in a 3-2 win for the home side.

Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Bruno Fernandes were putting together some tidy attacking soccer on the day, but Arsenal will be far better prepared to defend them than a team like Forest.

Mikel Arteta’s attacking 11 is going to prove difficult for a Manchester United back four that’s looked sloppy to say the least in the first three games. The -125 for Arsenal to win is one of my favorite Premier League predictions this weekend, both in terms of great value and probable outcome.

The Pick: Arsenal to win (-125)
