Best NHL Player Prop Bets for Friday, January 26, 2024  Igor Shesterkin Igor Shesterkin is one of the top goaltenders in the NHL. Shesterkin will have a tall task ahead on Friday night when the New York Rangers host the Golden Knights. The Golden Knights will still be without Center Jack Eichel, who’s out with a lower-body injury. Even without Eichel their offense is still lethal, as they average the seventh-most shots per game this season. The Rangers do a great job at limiting their opponents shots as New York allows the seventh fewest shots to opposing skaters this season. The Rangers new defensive pairings will be tested on Friday night and Shesterkin will have to come up big.

The Pick: Igor Shesterkin over 23.5 saves (-125)
Sergei Bobrovsky
Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has picked up right where he left off in last year’s postseason run by the Florida. It does help that the Panthers defense is stout, as they do a good job of limiting their opponents’ shots. Coming into Friday, the Panthers are allowing the fourth-fewest shots to opposing skaters this season. Though, Florida will have a tough challenge on hand Friday night as the Pittsburgh Penguins, led by Sidney Crosby, will certainly test this Panthers defense. Give me Bobrovsky’s over on saves as this game is going to rely on  him.

The Pick: Sergei Bobrovsky over 27.5 saves (-118)
Nathan MacKinnonNathan MacKinnon is scoring goals like he’s Lionel Messi playing in the MLS. MacKinnon enters Friday's game with seven goals over his past three games. The Los Angeles Kings will certainly be MacKinnon’s toughest matchup, as the Kings are great defensively this season. MacKinnon did have success recently against the Boston Bruins, though. He found the back of the net against a similar style of defense to the Kings. I’m riding the hot hand and going with MacKinnon to continue his goalscoring streak.

The Pick: Nathan MacKinnon anytime goalscorer (-106)
Jordan KyrouJordan Kyrou has been a pivotal piece for this St. Louis Blues team this season. The 25-year old forward has 13 goals and 21 assists across 46 games this season. St. Louis will travel to Seattle on Friday night where they’ll take on the Kraken. Kyrou can do a lot for this St. Louis team as he can score and create shots for his teammates. I can see the Kraken focusing on Kyrou as he’s one of their top playmakers and they’ll try to limit Kyrou’s opportunities.

The Pick: Jordan Kyrou under 2.5 shots on goal (+125)
