We are down to the final few games of the 2022-23 NHL regular season, and with multiple teams still fighting for their playoff lives, it’s truly a win-or-go-home situation for several of them. No teams will be laying down, however, as even the playoff-bound clubs are still pushing for better seeding, and the league-leading Boston Bruins are trying to make NHL history. The stage is set, so strap in for an incredible conclusion to the regular season.

Best NHL Parlays Tonight for Thursday, April 6: 4-Leg Parlay Picks (+698) Toronto Maple Leafs vs Boston Bruins Prediction and Pick

The Boston Bruins have already secured the top seed in the Eastern Conference and have the best record in hockey heading into Thursday night. While most teams in that situation would be focused on resting players, that’s the last thing on the Bruins’ minds, because they are too busy chasing history. At 60-12-5, Boston is looking to break the NHL record of 62 wins in a season, set by the Detroit Red Wings in 1995-96 and tied by the 2018-19 Tampa Bay Lightning. With five games remaining, the record seems very attainable.

Meanwhile, the Maple Leafs are still fighting to lock up a second-place finish behind the Bruins in the Atlantic Division. Toronto is feeling the heat from Tampa Bay, because the third-place Lightning trail the Leafs by only six points. The Bruins are 2-1 against Toronto this season, and with history on the line for them, I just don’t see Boston losing this game. The TD Garden will be rocking in black and yellow as the quest for 63 wins continues with victory No. 61 on Thursday night.

Leg-1 Parlay Pick: Boston Bruins ML (-154)
Ottawa Senators vs Florida Panthers Prediction and Pick

Backup goaltender Alex Lyon has essentially saved the Florida Panthers’ playoff hopes while filling in for Sergei Bobrovsky, who missed a few games due to illness. Lyon has been stellar in Bobrovsky’s absence -- going 4-0 with a .959 save percentage. With the Pittsburgh Penguins just one point behind them, and the Buffalo Sabres only six points back, the Panthers know they must win Thursday if they plan to keep pace and secure a wild-card spot in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Before the Panthers began their current four-game winning streak, Florida suffered a 5-2 road loss to the Senators in late March. Ottawa really controlled that game from start to finish. Trailing the Panthers and Islanders by just six points, the Senators will look to play spoiler on the road Thursday night. Lyon has yet to face Ottawa, but coming off his 39-save performance against a Buffalo team that has one of the NHL’s best offenses, I’m going to ride the hot hand here. Alex Lyon has been a cement wall in goal as of late.

Leg 2 Parlay Pick: Florida Panthers ML (-225)

Columbus Blue Jackets vs New Jersey Devils Prediction and Pick

The New Jersey Devils sit just three points behind the first-place Carolina Hurricanes in the Metropolitan Division and get a bingo-free-play matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday night to help close the gap. The Blue Jackets have the NHL’s second-worst defense – allowing 3.95 goals and 35.45 shots on goal per game. On top of that, Columbus is just 1-4-1 in its past six games. The Blue Jackets have yet to beat the Devils this season -- having suffered 7-1 and 3-2 losses to New Jersey. Nothing will change on Thursday night when the Devils win again in regulation.

Leg-3 Parlay Pick: New Jersey Devils win/draw/win (-250)

Philadelphia Flyers vs Dallas Stars Prediction and Pick

The Western Conference’s Central Division has a three-way tie for first place. Heading into Thursday’s games, the Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, and Minnesota Wild each have 98 points. Since all three are playing on Thursday, it could get interesting if one or two lose. The Stars have the easiest of the three games in hosting Philadelphia. The Flyers have had a disappointing season and are looking to build for next season, but they won’t stand a chance on Thursday night. This Stars team plays really well at home, where its record is 19-10-9. Dallas will lead this game from start to finish and win in regulation to put added pressure on the Wild and Avalanche.

Leg-4 Parlay Pick: Dallas Stars win/draw/win (-154)
Colorado Avalanche vs San Jose Sharks Prediction and Pick

These two teams just met on Tuesday night, and the Colorado Avalanche managed to squeak out a victory in overtime. Tied with the Wild and Stars for first place in the NHL Central Division, the Avs are facing a critical game. The Wild must deal with a hungry Pittsburgh Penguins team on Thursday night, but the Stars only have to get past an inferior Flyers squad. Given that the Stars are likely to win their game, Colorado is essentially in a must-win situation against the Sharks. Although Tuesday night’s game went to OT, that really was more about the Avalanche fading away in the third period and letting the Sharks scored two unanswered goals. Nathan MacKinnon was unstoppable for Colorado on Tuesday -- scoring two goals on seven shots -- and he will be unstoppable on Thursday night too. Avalanche win again.

Leg-5 Parlay Pick: Colorado Avalanche ML (-223)
