Best Same-Game Parlay Week 7 bets for 49ers vs. Vikings: 3-Leg Parlay Pick (+650)

Passing TDs Quarterback Brock Purdy does a great job at managing this 49ers offense. He doesn’t go off script or try to be a hero. Instead, he just takes what the opposing defense gives him. Having so much talent around him also helps Purdy a lot. The Niners QB has thrown for two or more touchdowns in three of six games. If Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey are unable to play, then San Francisco’s offense will rely on Purdy that much more on Monday night.

Leg-1 SGP Pick: Brock Purdy 2+ Passing Touchdowns (-120)

George Kittle As mentioned above, this hasn’t been a very good season for 49ers tight end George Kittle. Despite that, he has a great opportunity on Monday night if Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey are sidelined. The added spotlight could be just what Kittle needs to get going, because through six games this year, he has surpassed 70 receiving yards just once.

Leg-2 SGP Pick: George Kittle 70+ Receiving Yards (+275)

Points Scored The 49ers could be missing some key players on Monday night but that shouldn’t be too much of a problem for them because the Vikings’ defense is not very good. While San Francisco’s offense might be missing Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey, it still has a lot of weapons, including tight end George Kittle and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Look for the 49ers to put up points on Monday night.

Leg-3 SGP Pick: San Francisco 49ers over 27.5 points scored (+125)

Week 7 of the NFL season closes out with a Monday Night Football matchup between the visiting San Francisco 49ers and host Minnesota Vikings. With several stars potentially due to miss the game, we won’t have the fireworks that were expected when the league drew up its 2023 schedule, but we should still see some good football because the 49ers are always a treat to watch.

49ers at Vikings Preview

The San Francisco 49ers suffered their first loss of the season last week at Cleveland, where the Browns upset them 19-17. The home team’s defense made it a long afternoon for Niners quarterback Brock Purdy and his high-powered offense. While the 49ers were getting a rare taste of defeat last Sunday, the Vikings managed to score their first victory without wide receiver Justin Jefferson in a 19-13 win at Chicago. Since this game will be played on Monday night, expect plenty of pregame talk to focus on Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins’ history of primetime woes. In addition to that history, he’ll have an especially tough task in this particular game. Cousins will not only be taking on a stout 49ers defense Monday, he’ll be doing it without his favorite receiver, Justin Jefferson.

49ers vs. Vikings Predictions and Picks

The 49ers suffered some key injuries in last week’s loss at Cleveland. Both wide receiver Deebo Samuel and running back Christian McCaffrey left that game with injuries and are listed as questionable for Monday night. They’re not alone, because offensive lineman Trent Williams is also in the questionable category. In other words, the 49ers might have to again try to win without some key players. While that should normally raise some concerns, it’s not a huge issue this week. The Vikings have been really bad this season, and without wide receiver Justin Jefferson, I can’t see Minnesota being competitive in this game. It’s true that Vikings QB Kirk Cousins tends to struggle in primetime games, but that’s not really something to focus on here because it’s not like he’s expected to win. In any event, the 49ers will easily win this Monday night game as an encore to their last appearance in primetime, when they beat Dallas by 32 points.

The Pick: San Francisco 49ers -6.5 (-110)

The Minnesota Vikings will likely struggle to move the ball against San Francisco. Not having Justin Jefferson will always hurt this Vikings offense. I can see this game playing out for Minnesota in a similar fashion to what the Dallas Cowboys experienced when they faced the 49ers two weeks ago. That said, the over/under total on this game could go either way. Whether the over or under hits will likely be determined by how well the 49ers’ offense performs without some key players. If Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffrey, and Trent Williams all play, then I would go with the over. If they all sit, then I go with the under. I’m going to predict that they miss this game, so give me the under.

The Pick: Under 43.5 (+100)

Best NFL Player-Prop Bets for 49ers vs. Vikings: Monday Night Football Week 7

George Kittle

San Francisco tight end George Kittle has had a very quiet season so far. The only media attention he received came courtesy of the profanity written on a T-shirt he wore underneath his jersey during his team’s against the Dallas Cowboys. If wide receiver Deebo Samuel and running back Christian McCaffrey miss Monday night’s game, Kittle will be forced to step up and play well in their absence. Given that fact, his total for receiving yards seems too low.

The Pick: George Kittle over 44.5 receiving yards (-110)
