George Kittle over 4.5 receptions (-160)

With top wide receiver Deebo Samuel possibly getting the Jalen Ramsey treatment, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo could target some of his other receivers more often in this game.

Kittle has a matchup to exploit. Entering the week, the Rams had given up the third-most receptions to tight ends in the NFL (53). Kittle also has six or more receptions in two of his last three games. He has totaled five or more receptions in each of his past five matchups against the Rams, going over 100 yards in three of those games.

Brandon Aiyuk over receptions 4.5 (+120)

Shutting down Samuel will open up targets, which Aiyuk should soak up. Prior to last week, Aiyuk talked about being more confident and feeling better after talking with his head coach. It resulted in him catching six passes for 89 yards and a touchdown.

Best of all, he looked like the player from last season. This is a great matchup to build upon Aiyuk’s newfound confidence, and the game script should work to his favor.

Cooper Kupp over 7.5 receptions (-135)

The Rams have been trying to include both Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods in the game plan, since they’re both great wide receivers. With Woods lost for the season with an ACL injury, Kupp should have plays called for him even more often.

There is a clear step down in talent from Kupp to Van Jefferson, and Odell Beckham Jr. will need time to learn the offense. Kupp has reception totals of 9, 10, 7 and 11 the past four games, and his role should be even larger tonight.

Van Jefferson over receptions 3.5 (-165)

Yes, there’s a step down from Kupp to Jefferson, but Jefferson has played over 80 percent of the offensive snaps in each of the past three games, and he should be an every down type of player tonight.

Woods’ 7.7 targets per game are up for grabs, and a couple should go Jefferson’s way. He has totaled three or more receptions in each of the past four weeks. Look for the increased role to lead to increased targets, and hitting the over.
