Bengals vs Bills Preview The Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills will take the field again after their Week 17 game ended tragically with Bills safety Damar Hamlin being rushed to a nearby Cincinnati hospital. Rightfully so, the NFL suspended eventually ended up canceling the game due to Hamlin’s tragic injury.

Weeks since the heartbreaking scare, Hamlin is still recovering but is able to walk on his own, breathe on his own and was even able to return to the Bills practice facility and rejoin his teammates. While Hamlin’s return to the NFL field is still far away, the fact that he’s even at the team’s facility is a miracle in itself.

Offensive lineman Dion Dawkins told CNN“His appearance, like walking around here, it’s a positive thing and to see three (Hamlin wears the No. 3 on his jersey) just smile and just wave and just put his hearts up and keep it pushing. It’s a positive energy bubble that’s just floating around the facility.”

When the two teams take the field at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, Hamlin will certainly be in the back of every player, coach and fan’s mind, but like Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow said it best: it’s ultimately win or go home.

“Obviously what happened, that’s always in the back of everybody’s minds, but now it’s win or go home. I think that’s what everybody’s mostly focused on,” said Burrow.

Bengals vs Bills Prediction and Picks for AFC Divisional Round When these two teams faced off on Monday night a few weeks ago, the Bengals jumped out to a quick 7-0 start that was followed by a Bills field goal in the first quarter. The Bengals were then driving again, with hopes of putting more points on the board in what was turning out to look like a true offensive battle.

While both defenses ranked near the top of the NFL in points allowed per game, with Cincinnati at sixth allowing 20.1 points per game, and Buffalo ranked second allowing 17.9 points per game, both of their offenses rank near the top as well, with Cincinnati averaging 26.1 points per game, and Buffalo averaging 28.4 points per game. So, while their defenses both held their own for a majority of the season, their offenses posed true tests, and that showed early in that Monday night game.

With the winner advancing to the AFC Championship game, expect both teams to leave it all out there on the field and bring some of their best stuff in this game. Many expect this to be a defensive battle, but I expect this to be a shootout. The Bills defense just allowed 31 points to a Dolphins offense led by rookie Skylar Thompson, who showed some flashes of talent but is nowhere near Joe Burrow’s level. As for the Bengals, they did a better job with the Ravens and quarterback Tyler Huntley, but if it weren’t for a Mark Andrews fumble on the goal line, the Bengals might not even be headed to Buffalo this Sunday.

While the money and the total are moving towards the under, I’m on the over in this one. If these defenses couldn’t stop Thompson and Huntley, good luck stopping Burrow and Allen.

The Pick: Over 48.5 (-105)

As I touched on above, both defenses scared me in the Wild Card weekend. While the Bengals looked a tad more impressive, it’s nothing to hold their hat on.

This game is going to be a shootout and likely come down to whoever has the ball last. With two good field goal kickers, and explosive offenses, it’ll literally come down to whoever can get into field goal range last.

When these two teams met on Monday night a few short weeks ago, noted it was early, but it looked like Cincinnati was getting ready to run away with that game. With that being said, give me the Bengals and the points.

The Pick: Cincinnati Bengals +5 (-105)
Best NFL Player Prop Bets Divisional Round Today for Bengals vs Bills Best Bengals Player Prop Bets TodayIf Skylar Thompson could’ve had some more help from his receivers, as they all dropped countless passes against the Bills defense last weekend, he could’ve not only had a bigger day than his 220 yards passing, but maybe could’ve pulled off the upset.

Burrow had a poor game against Baltimore, with only 209 passing yards, and while he has only exceeded his prop amount of 276.5 passing yards in just three of his last 10 games, I still like the over for his prop total on Sunday.

This Bills defense is good, but it has its flaws. If Thompson had some help last weekend, he probably would’ve thrown for 300 yards himself.

The Pick: Joe Burrow over 276.5 passing yards (-115)
Best Bills Player Prop Bets TodayJosh Allen torched the Dolphins defense last weekend for 352 yards passing and three touchdowns, but still looked a little off with two interceptions and a fumble.

As for the Bengals defense, they let Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley not only throw for his best game of his career, but exceed 200 yards passing for the first time in his career as well. If Huntley could go for 226 passing yards and two touchdowns against this Bengals defense, then Allen can certainly go for another 300-yard passing touchdown performance.

While Allen has only exceeded 267.5 passing yards in three of his last 10 games, in a win or go home game in Buffalo, Allen has a day in a shootout game.

The Pick: Josh Allen over 267.5 passing yards (-115)
