Best NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals Player Prop Bets Today: Heat vs Knicks Game 1 on Sunday, April 30th Jimmy Butler The New York Knicks and the Miami Heat met in the regular season four times this year with the Knicks winning three of the four games. While all four matchups were close, the stage is brighter in the playoffs. Just ask Butler, who averaged 37.6 points in the first round which included a 56-point game as he led the Heat to the upset in the first round over the Milwaukee Bucks. With their eyes set on another NBA Championship, don’t expect Butler to fade away until that goal is reached. I like Butler to continue his scoring tear on Sunday as he’ll look to set the tone against the Knicks in game one. Butler exceeded 30 points in two of his four matchups during the regular season against the Knicks. But as we’ve all seen, this isn’t regular season Jimmy Butler. Heck, this isn’t even Jimmy Butler. This is Himmy Butler, because he’s him. Give me the over in this one.

The Pick: Jimmy Butler over 30.5 points (-105)
Bam Adebayo While Bam Adebayo’s scoring took a bit of a backseat in round one, it wasn’t because of Butler’s scoring tear. Adebayo was still getting his looks. He’ll look to get back on track Sunday as the Heat will need him in this matchup. He’ll face a Knicks defense that allowed the fewest points in the paint this season, so it won’t be a cakewalk for Adebayo. But he’ll be ready. While Adebayo has seen some of his production, mostly rebounds, taken away since the addition of Kevin Love, I still like Adebayo’s number here for this total.

The Pick: Bam Adebayo over 25.5 points & rebounds (-115)
Jalen Brunson Like the New York Knicks’, the Miami Heat’s post defense is stout, allowing the second fewest points in the paint this season. So if the New York Knicks want to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 1999, they’re going to need their guard play to be stellar. And that starts with Brunson. Brunson averaged 24 points and exceeded his current total of 23.5 points in two out of the five games in round one and exceeded that total in two out of the three games against Miami during the regular season. With no Quentin Grimes for the Knicks to knock down threes and the Heat’s interior defense closing in on Julius Randle, look for Brunson to carry the load offensively.

The Pick: Jalen Brunson over 23.5 points (-120)
Bam Adebayo Yes we’re going back to the Olympic Gold Medalist for another player prop on what will be a fine Sunday in Madison Square Garden. We will be going to the defensive side where, like I touched on earlier, this Heat team allows the second fewest points in the paint this season. While that stat is impressive, it won’t steer Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau away from going to Julius Randle in the paint. So for this prop I like Adebayo to get a block on Sunday. Adebayo had at least one block in three of the five games against the Milwaukee Bucks in round one and during the regular season Adebayo had a block in three of the four games, including two blocks in one of those games, against the Knicks this season. Give me Adebayo to get a block and re-watch it later that evening when Scott Van Pelt yells “don’t bring that kind of Kool-Aid to a gym party” when he shows the Heat-Knicks highlight reel.

The Pick: Bam Adebayo over 0.5 Blocks (-145)
