Best NBA Player Props Bets for Today: 12/29
Myles Turner

The last time the Pacers met the Cavaliers, Turner went for 12 points and 11 rebounds. With Tyrese Haliburton listed as questionable with a knee bruise, not only will Indiana suffer if he sits out, but they will lose one of their most efficient shooters.

I'm not bashing the Pacers backups here, but they’re reserves for a reason. If Haliburton sits, expect more missed shots and, as a result, more rebounds. Factoring that in with Cleveland being a middling rebounding team, despite having a lot of real estate in the paint with Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley and Kevin Love, should allow Turner to have his way on the glass.

The Pick: Myles Turner over 7.5 rebounds (-125)

Ja Morant

Everyone outside of Ja Morant on the Memphis Grizzlies is currently in a slump. If they want to break this recent skid from first in the Western Conference to third, then they’re going to have to do it on the back of Morant.

Outside of a blowout win over the Phoenix Suns on December 23rd, Morant has really had to carry the load for the Grizzlies as he’s averaging 35 points, 8.0 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game during that stretch. He also has a top-five usage rate in the NBA and is averaging MVP numbers.

The Pick: Ja Morant over 41.5 points, rebounds, assists (-115)

Luka Doncic

I’ve been saying since the second week of the season that Luka Doncic and only Luka Doncic is the frontrunner for MVP this season. And after one of the most insane comebacks in NBA history over the Knicks where Doncic had 60 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists, people are starting to finally respect the three-time NBA All-Star.

The Mavericks are currently seventh in the Western Conference at 19-16 but if you took Doncic off this roster they would not only be the worst team in the NBA, but wouldn’t have cracked five wins at this point in the season.

These two teams met not even a week ago and it took a 50-point performance to go with 10 assists and eight rebounds from Doncic to fight off this young Rockets team. The Mavericks live and die by Doncic and he’ll have another big night in front of his home crowd on Thursday.

The Pick: Luka Doncic over 50.5 points, rebounds, assists (-125)
