The Thursday night basketball slate boasts four exciting NBA games, including a Philadelphia 76ers road game at Dallas that follows their standout performance against the Miami Heat on Wednesday night. Joel Embiid sat out Wednesday with a foot injury, but Philly still won by a hefty and quite unlikely 24 points -- which I’m sure spoiled a few NBA parlays.

Embiid’s status will be an important feature in picking some of the best NBA parlays tonight, as it should affect the likes of Tyrese Maxey and James Harden’s lines.

The Indiana Pacers travel to play the Spurs, the Wizards host the Raptors, and the night’s action finishes up with a fun one between the LA Clippers and the Golden State Warriors -- two teams tussling over the No. 5 seed in the West.

With four games on the slate, let’s take a look at some NBA free picks and parlays.

Best NBA Parlay Picks Tonight – Thursday, March 2: 4-Leg Parlay Picks (+1548)

76ers vs Mavericks Prediction and Pick

The Philadelphia 76ers had one of their best team performances on Wednesday at Miami, picking up an all-important win while allowing Joel Embiid to sit and rest.

The Sixers big man is dealing with some soreness due to a foot injury, and while his status is not yet confirmed for tonight, there is an expectation that he will quickly return to the lineup. This Sixers’ road game against the Dallas Mavericks is the first game of our NBA parlay picks tonight, and I’m going for Philly to have its second impressive night in a row.

The Mavericks have lost four of their last five games and failed to cover the spread in five of their last six. Their only cover came in a game they went into as 14-point favorites against the San Antonio Spurs.

Tyrese Maxey was outstanding in the win at Miami, scoring 27 points while Embiid was absent. This Philadelphia team seems to have the ability to win through several players on the court, including a more composed James Harden.

Philadelphia is currently a 4.5 point underdog on the road, but I have every confidence that they can win this one outright.

Leg-1 Parlay Pick: Philadelphia 76ers Moneyline (+145)

Raptors vs Wizards Prediction and Pick

The Toronto Raptors have been in fine form recently, winning eight of their last 10 games to fight their way back into contention for an Eastern Conference playoff spot.

The Raptors are one of the NBA’s sharpest teams right now with Pascal Siakam playing at a high clip, and OG Anunoby making a return to the lineup. The addition of Jakob Poeltl has been sensational for the Raps, and if they continue on their current trajectory, they’ll be right in the mix come postseason.

Washington is currently 10th in the Eastern Conference, two games behind the Raptors. Winning this one would really help to close the gap. My concern is the Wizards’ ability to contend with Toronto based on how the Raptors have been playing.

Siakam has been able to elevate his game with more freedom, thanks to the support of a powerful center in Poeltl, and Toronto is finding a new gear.

I’m backing the Raptors to win this one, but betting on the under is also worth considering. In their past five games, both Washington and Toronto have been involved in four that ended with under total points.

Leg-2 Parlay Pick: Toronto Raptors Moneyline (-130)

Clippers vs Warriors Prediction and Pick

The Warriors continue to fight on without Steph Curry, and his return is looking hopeful for the upcoming road trip that begins against the Lakers on Sunday.

In the meantime, the Warriors have an important game against the LA Clippers. The two franchises are currently neck-and-neck in the Western Conference. The Warriors have replaced the Clippers in the fifth spot in the conference, following a three-game stretch of wins. Meanwhile, Kawhi Leonard and his team have lost their last three, including the overtime thriller against Sacramento and a disappointing performance against the Minnesota Timberwolves in their most recent game.

The Warriors have found a gem in Donte DiVincenzo, who fits their offensive style perfectly. The former Bucks guard has been thriving recently for Golden State. When Curry returns to the lineup, the roster's wealth of great scorers will be enough to make a case for a playoff run. DiVincenzo hit 50 percent from 3-point range in February and scored 21 points in back-to-back games heading into tonight.

The Clippers have lost six of their last eight against the spread, while slipping down the West’s rankings. The Warriors have won four of their last six and will be encouraged by the position they’ve been able to hold in the absence of their superstar.

Golden State has the momentum heading into this game. Despite missing Curry and Andrew Wiggins, who yet to return, the Warriors are still my pick to at least cover in my NBA parlay tonight, and possibly even secure a moneyline victory.

Leg-3 Parlay Pick: Golden State Warriors +3.5 (-105)

Pacers vs Spurs Prediction and Pick

The San Antonio Spurs continue to struggle in 2022-23 and could potentially be without impressive rookie Malaki Branham for tonight's game. The former Ohio State Buckeye is showing some real promise for San Antonio in what has otherwise been a really difficult year for Greg Popovich’s team. Branham, however, is officially questionable for tonight's game due to a back issue.

The Pacers have won their last two despite going into them as an underdog against both the Orlando Magic and the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs were an 8.5-point favorite, but a strong performance -- led by 32 points from first-time All-Star Tyrese Haliburton --saw Indiana claim a 124-122 win.

Indiana is now on a four-game hot streak covering the spread, having won three of those games and only narrowly losing to the Boston Celtics in overtime. Haliburton is playing at a high clip, and the Pacers should take care of business against the Spurs on Thursday night.

This is perhaps my most confident pick in the NBA parlay tonight, I’ll take the Pacers to cover the 5.5 on the road. The line moved from 4.5 to 5.5 just in the time I spent writing this, so maybe I’m on to something here. Even at the slightly bumped line, I still feel great about Indiana.

Leg-4 Parlay Pick: Indiana Pacers -5.5 (-105)
