Grizzlies vs 76ers Prediction and Pick

The Philadelphia 76ers went into the All-Star break on a four-game win streak, rounding it out with a win over the highly touted Cleveland Cavaliers. Joel Embiid had two 35+ point nights in that four-game stretch, while the Sixers were given a hefty boost from Tyrese Maxey.

The Sixers' young guard had 26 points against the New York Knicks and 26 against the Houston Rockets, offering Philly a burst of energy every time he steps on the floor.

Memphis are one of the league's most stubborn teams when it comes to points allowed in the paint, and even with Steven Adams sidelined, the Grizzlies are a top-five team in that category. That said, Embiid still had a 35-point night against the Grizzlies last time out, and the absence of Adams on the boards will favor the Sixers.

Leg 1 Parlay Pick: Philadelphia 76ers -4.5 (-110)

Pelicans vs Raptors Prediction and Pick

Brandon Ingram has found his rhythm again in February. The Pelicans forward had been out of the lineup since late November, returning in late January, and after settling back into the starting five he’s now leading the line.

Ingram is averaging 29.2 points per game so far in February, picking up more responsibility on the offensive end of the floor while the Pels are without Zion Williamson.

The Raptors do expect to have O.G. Anunoby back for Thursday's game, with the Toronto forward yet to play in February after suffering a wrist injury in late January. Anunoby’s return to the lineup will certainly be a boost against the Pelicans, who have struggled to find consistency in scoring without Zion.

I’ll take the Raptors to cover in this one, with Pascal Siakam set to have another big night.

Leg 2 Parlay Pick: Toronto Raptors -4.5 (-110)

Spurs vs Mavericks Prediction and Pick

The San Antonio Spurs have covered the spread once in their last 13 games. They’ve been easy cash in recent weeks, currently on a fourteen-game losing streak, and their only cover came with a 16-point advantage against the Cleveland Cavaliers on February 13th.

The Spurs are rebuilding, and that’s fine. We’re not expecting them to move mountains this season. The Dallas Mavericks, however, shook the entire league when they traded for Kyrie Irving, creating one of the most talented backcourts in the NBA.

Kyrie has looked better and better with each game in a Mavericks jersey, combining with Luka for 69 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the last game before the All-Star break. The two will be overpowering for the Spurs, who just don’t have the resources to deal with that much firepower. The Spurs are bottom five in shot attempts allowed per game, while giving up the highest average points in the NBA this season. It might be a little bit of a nail-biter, but I’ll take the Mavs with the -13.5.

Leg 3 Parlay Pick: Dallas Mavericks -13.5 (-110)

Warriors vs Lakers Prediction and Pick

The main storyline heading into Thursday's game between the Warriors and the Lakers is the continued absence of Warriors guard Steph Curry. The Warriors star has been out since early February with a lower leg issue, and expects to miss some more time yet before returning to the floor.

Jordan Poole has stepped up in Curry’s absence, leading the team in scoring three times in the five games Curry has missed so far, including the Lakers game on February 12th. Neither Curry nor Lebron James featured in the game, with the Lakers taking the win 109-103. Golden State had 11 steals in the game but were outmatched on the glass, with Anthony Davis and Rui Hachimura combining for 23 boards.

This time around, Lebron will likely play, which should result in a better scoring night for the Lakers. Both teams are bottom five in opposition points allowed per game this season, and I have faith in the over with both teams fresh after the All-Star break.

Leg 4 Parlay Pick: Over 237.5 Points (-115)
