Best NHL Player Prop Bets Today: Thursday, February 16th David PastrnakThe Boston Bruins offense has been top-tier this season, ranking third in the NHL in goals per game with 3.66 and featuring nine players with 10 or more goals on the season. Leading the way is David Pastrnak with 39 goals. With one hat trick and multiple two-score games, Pastrnak can always be counted on to score. While the Bruins do have plenty of other weapons, this offense flows through Pastrnak. Not only do I think he will score on Thursday night, I also believe the shots on goal will be there. Pastrnak has had at least four shots in five of his last seven games. The Bruins will look for him to lead the way offensively as they’ll go for their 41st win on the season.

The Pick: David Pastrnak over 4.5 shots on goal (-115)

Jesper BrattNew Jersey scoring leader Jack Hughes has returned to practice and is listed as questionable for Thursday’s game. Hughes has certainly been missed, but the Devils have been filling the void in his absence. A key player is Jesper Bratt, who scored in the Devils’ 3-2 road win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night. Bratt, New Jersey’s second-leading scorer, will need to step up again Thursday night if Hughes doesn’t play. Look for Bratt to exceed his shots-on-goal average again on Thursday night.

The Pick: Jesper Bratt over 2.5 shots on goal (+105)
Kevin HayesAfter getting his first career hat trick last month, Kevin Hayes has been an offensive force for the Philadelphia Flyers. With two or more shots on goal in all but two games since the start of January, Hayes has been getting his fair share of attempts offensively. As the Flyers travel to Seattle, where the Kraken have had recent success, look for Hayes to help lead the way in a tough road environment. Hayes exceeds his shots on goal prop on Thursday night.

The Pick: Kevin Hayes over 2.5 shots on goal (-115)
Timo MeierThe Vegas Golden Knights will be without star goalie Logan Thompson for the foreseeable future, since he’s been deemed week-to-week with a lower-body injury. Backup Adin Hill will be filling in while Thompson is out, and while Hill boasts a good record, he’s been exposed in quite a few games. Vegas has the 10th-best defense in hockey, but that defense is significantly better with Thompson in goal. Meanwhile, Timo Meier has been awesome for San Jose this season with 31 goals and a few multi-score games. Look for Meier to score at least once against Hill on Thursday night.

The Pick: Timo Meier anytime goalscorer (+135)
