Alamo Bowl Prediction and Pick

Oklahoma vs Arizona
San Antonio, Texas
9:15pm EST

When this pairing was announced, I liked Arizona immediately, and that was before Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel transferred to Oregon. Now Oklahoma will start Jackson Arnold at quarterback and also they'll be replacing offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby, who's now the head coach at Mississippi State. Arizona is quite simply one of the nations…is the nation's most underrated team. They finished nine and three. Their three losses were all by seven points or less, two of those in overtime. I like Arizona in this game against Oklahoma. I believe they're a small favorite, maybe three points or less. But I like the Wildcats to continue an incredible season under Jedd Fisch.

The Pick: Arizona Point Spread -2 (-115)

Cotton Bowl Prediction and Pick

Ohio State vs Missouri

Dallas, Texas
8:00 pm EST

Yeah, talk about line moves, Ohio State opened up as a six and a half point favorite against Missouri and now the Buckeyes are the underdog. 1 to 2 point underdog. What world are we living in? I guess a big reason is the motivational angle. This is Missouri's biggest bowl game in like forever. For Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord has transferred and several other players have entered the transfer portal. However, several potential NFL opt-outs haven't announced their plans yet, most notably Marvin Harrison Jr. Even with all the potential defections for Ohio State, which Missouri team am I going to get? Am I going to get the one that routed Tennessee and Arkansas or the one that should have lost to Florida. Even with all the losses by Ohio State, I'll take Ohio State with the points. I'm a sucker. I can't see a seven point line move in this game. I think Ohio State will play the disrespected card whether they deserve it or not, and I'll take Ohio State

The Pick: Ohio State Point Spread -3 (-105)

Peach Bowl Prediction and Pick

Penn State vs Ole Miss

Atlanta, Georgia
12:00 pm EST

Yeah, this is a great matchup. These teams are combined 20 and four. Nothing to be ashamed about their losses…Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and Ohio State. Hey, that that would make a pretty good playoff, wouldn't it? But look Penn State they fired offensive coordinator Mike Jurczyk and defensive coordinator Manny Diaz left to become Duke's head coach. So Penn State's going to have new coordinators for the Peach Bowl. This season Penn State's offense lacked explosiveness, and the Ole Miss defense might be the perfect remedy for that. At Ole Miss, not one of the stronger defenses in the country. However, I think Ole Miss comes into this game wanting to prove it belongs among the nation's elite teams, Lane Kiffin has lost his last two bowl games by 17 and 14 points. And as much as Lane Kiffin loves to take fourth down gambles during the regular season, I can't wait to see what he dials up in a bowl game. A new years six game. I'll take the better offense with Ole Miss getting more than a field goal over the Nittany Lions

The Pick: Mississippi Moneyline +150

Orange Bowl Prediction and Pick

Florida State vs Georgia

Miami Gardens, Florida
4:00 pm EST

Yeah. I mean, what will Florida State's mindset be for this game after being left out of the playoff, motivated or deflated? I guess, you know, we'll find out. But based on the talent disparity, especially with the unfortunate season ending injury to quarterback Jordan Travis and then also the recent FSU opt out running back Trey Benson and defensive end Jared Verse, there's a reason Georgia is a two touchdown favorite. They are just that much better than Florida State. We saw what Florida State looked like offensively without Travis and it didn't look good. And now they get the mighty Bulldogs. But while were questioning Florida State's mindset, how motivated is Georgia going to be? This is their first non-playoff game in three years and they're a prohibitive favorite. Look, I hate laying double digits. It's not it's not a good long-term decision. But ultimately, I think Georgia covers by wearing down the Seminoles in the second half so gimme Georgia minus the points.

The Pick: Georgia Point Spread -19 (-110)

Fiesta Bowl Prediction and Pick

Oregon vs Liberty

Glendale, Arizona
1:00 pm EST

Yeah, Oregon coach Dan Lanning has his challenges as the Ducks coach…how in the world to get his team focused after their playoff hopes were crushed and now, you're playing in a bowl game against a team that quite honestly won't provide much motivation. Liberty played the easiest schedule in the FBS, so this will be a major, major upgrade for the Flames. The Ducks have some notable opt-outs, but Oregon quarterback Bo Nix is expected to play for the Ducks. They should be able to name the score in this one. It is insane to lay 17 or more points in a meaningless bowl game, so I'm not going to do that, but I'm not going to take Liberty. But I will take the over in this one. I think there'll be plenty of points, not much defense in a game that really nobody cares about except maybe the families of both teams.

The Pick: Total Points: Over 67.5 (-110)

Citrus Bowl Prediction and Pick

Iowa vs Tennessee

Orlando, Florida
1:oo pm EST

I don't know if it's too late, but I want to patent the name of this bowl game. It's not the Citrus Bowl. It's the tortoise versus the hare Bowl. Iowa's offensively challenged offense, if you can call it an offense, against Tennessee's light speed pace on offense. The Vols average a play every 21 seconds. That's the nation's third fastest pace. Iowa counters with well the nation's best punter Tory Taylor from Australia, for our friends in Australia, and also they have one of the nation's best defenses. This will be the finale for beleaguered Iowa offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz. As nonexistent as Iowa's offense has been this year, I think the Hawkeyes will muck this game up and I will hold my nose and take the Hawkeyes plus six and a half.

The Pick: Iowa Point Spread +6.5 (-110)
