Denver Nuggets (-5.5) vs Charlotte Hornets

The Nuggets have lost back-to-back games against fellow title contenders in the Brooklyn Nets and Utah Jazz, but they’ve still won 10 of their last 14 games and should bounce back on Tuesday night.

Denver is an impressive 11-5 on the road since the end of February and is 19-9 against Eastern Conference opponents this season.

The Hornets have exceeded expectations this season and currently sit eighth in the East, but they’ve lost 11 of their last 17 games, with nine of those defeats coming by a margin of at least eight points.

Miami Heat (-1) v Boston Celtics

The Heat beat the Celtics 130-24 on Sunday and have now climbed above them in the Eastern Conference standings thanks to a run of nine wins in 12 games.

Boston is slumping at the worst possible time, having gone 4-7 over its last 11 games as the playoffs approach.

With Jaylen Brown now confirmed to be out for the season with a wrist injury, things are looking bleak for the Celtics and it’s hard to see them pulling off a win here.

Dallas Mavericks (-2) vs Memphis Grizzlies

The Mavericks are on a roll and look poised for a deep playoff run, having won 10 of their last 12 games, with seven of those victories coming by double digits.

Dallas has won four in a row, beating the Nets and Heat in the process, and they now face a Memphis team on the second night of a back-to-back.

The Grizzlies have gone 5-5 over their last 10 games and have actually been worse at home (15-18) than on the road (20-15) this season.

Golden State Warriors (+5) vs Phoenix Suns

Steph Curry has scored 30 points or more in 20 of his last 22 games, an incredible run that has powered Golden State to eighth in the West and a spot in the play-in tournament.

The Warriors are red hot, winning five of their last six games – including Monday’s 119-116 victory over the conference-leading Utah Jazz – with four of those wins coming by at least a 15-point margin.

The Suns are pretty much locked into the second seed and have lost two of their last three games by margins of 32 and 13 points, so it’s worth backing Golden State to at least keep this one close.
