Philadelphia 76ers (-9) vs Atlanta Hawks

The 76ers haven’t been at their dominant best in recent games, but they routed the Hawks 127-83 on Wednesday night and should ease to another comfortable win in the second leg of this back-to-back.

Atlanta lost by 14 to the Detroit Pistons before that defeat to Philly, and they’re struggling with several key players injured at present, including star point guard Trae Young.

The Sixers are 24-7 at home this season and it’s hard to see anything other than a blowout victory on their own court here.

Washington Wizards (-6.5) vs Cleveland Cavaliers

The Wizards’ late charge for the postseason continued with a 116-107 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, meaning they’ve now won 11 of their last 13 games to climb to 10th in the East.

With Russell Westbrook looking like the player who was named league MVP in 2017, it’s easy to back Washington against a Cleveland team that is 13th in the East with a 21-41 record.

The Cavs are missing several players through injury, rank 28th in the NBA in net rating and have lost four consecutive games.

Portland Trail Blazers (-1) vs Brooklyn Nets

The Nets lead the East despite their superstar trio of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden all missing time through injury this season, but although they’ve won their last four games it’s going to be tough for them to beat the Trail Blazers on Friday.

Durant is likely to sit out this second leg of a back-to-back, while Irving could also see his minutes restricted as he comes back from a groin injury. Harden is still out long-term with a hamstring problem.

The Trail Blazers have won back-to-back games by 21 points, and this looks a good opportunity for them to steal a victory against a major championship contender.

Phoenix Suns (-4.5) vs Utah Jazz

Expect the Suns to come out on top at home as second meets first in the Western Conference on Friday night.

Phoenix beat the third-place Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday and is now 44-18 for the season, including a conference-leading 25-10 against teams from the West.

Although the Jazz are clinging on to the top seed with a 45-17 record, they have gone 3-3 since losing Donovan Mitchell to injury on 16 April and will find it extremely difficult to beat Phoenix on the road without their best player.
