With the NBA playoffs looming in less than a month, I am taking advantage of the remaining NBA parlays while I still can. As we head into the postseason, the competition becomes much fiercer. Some teams are fighting tooth-and-nail for a chance to secure a spot in the playoffs.

In the Western Conference, the race is especially tight -- with only four wins separating the fourth-seeded Suns from the 12th-seeded Utah Jazz. Any team currently in the hunt and able to make a run in the West in the few remaining weeks could find itself in a strong playoff position by April 9.

The East is also far from settled. The Bucks currently hold a two-game lead over the Boston Celtics for the No. 1 seed, and the Miami Heat sit at seventh place, looking at a play-in game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Taking a look at Tuesday's slate, I will be putting together some NBA free picks and parlays, including a big game between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks.

Best NBA Parlays Today - Tuesday, March 14: 4 Leg Parlay Picks (+1203)

Nuggets vs Raptors Prediction and Pick

Despite losing their last three games, the Denver Nuggets are still five games clear as the No. 1 seed in the NBA Western Conference. Denver dropped its most recent home games against the Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets, while also suffering a road loss to the Spurs.

In the Spurs game, Nikola Jokic achieved his 26th triple-double, but unfortunately, Denver lost for the first time this season when Jokic accomplished this feat. The Nuggets’ last win came against Toronto at home, when Denver beat the Raptors 118-113 despite Jokic scoring only 17 points.

Toronto has lost its last three, as the Raptors are fighting for their place in the NBA’s play-in games. The introduction of Jakob Poeltl has been good for the Raptors, and Scottie Barnes had a 32-point night his last time out in the loss to the Lakers.

Denver is a tough team to beat when Jokic is on form and his supporting cast is shooting at a high percentage. If Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr find their rhythm early, I like Denver to win this one, so I’ll take the moneyline. They’ve been on a poor run, going 0-4 against the spread in their last four games, but went 7-of-8 in the stretch prior to those games.

Leg-1 Parlay Pick: Denver Nuggets Moneyline (-105)

Magic vs Spurs Prediction and Pick

The Orlando Magic, who have scored at least 119 points in their last four games, now travel to face the San Antonio Spurs on the road. They’ve hit five overs in their last six games, while the Spurs have managed three in their last four. Those numbers led to a 233.5-point line tonight, which is typically high for a Spurs game, but the highest the Magic have seen since Feb. 5.

Orlando has been scoring well, while the Spurs have been giving up the most points per game this season. However, San Antonio’s recent games have been somewhat unpredictable, with a game against the Thunder resulting in a total of 192 points, which was 45 points below the predicted spread.

The Magic might be without Franz Wagner, who is currently listed as questionable, but I think they hold the Spurs to 110 points or fewer whether he plays or not. San Antonio has only cleared the 110-point mark once in their last seven games, so I’m picking the under in this one as maybe my favorite pick for the NBA parlay tonight.

Leg-2 Parlay Pick: San Antonio Spurs vs Orlando Magic Under 233.5 (-105)

Cavaliers vs Hornets Prediction and Pick

The Charlotte Hornets snapped a nine-game streak of unders with two overs in their last two games, including their latest game against Cleveland on Sunday.

The Cavaliers stayed in Charlotte for their second of the two back-to-back games against the Hornets, who have been struggling to regain their scoring form since LaMelo Ball’s season was ended by an ankle injury.

Cleveland's unpredictability against the spread has made it difficult to make accurate predictions, as they have a 4-7 record. However, their recent matchup against Charlotte, just two days ago, might work in the Cavs’ favor. Nevertheless, Cleveland will be without Jarrett Allen, and they will rely heavily on Evan Mobley to maintain their strong defensive performance this season.

I’m backing the Cavs to win, but I don’t have the confidence that they cover without one of their key players on both ends of the floor. Charlotte +7.5 feels a lot more enticing this time around, I have the confidence that they’ll at least be in the game and won’t spoil all my best NBA parlays tonight.

Leg-3 Parlay Pick: Charlotte Hornets +7.5 (-120)

Bucks vs Suns Prediction and Pick

The Phoenix Suns host the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks tonight after suffering their second straight loss, this time to the Golden State Warriors. Phoenix has been in better form since the return of Devin Booker and the arrival of Kevin Durant, who is now out of the lineup once again after slipping in the team’s pregame warm-up earlier this month.

Durant will likely miss most of the rest of March, meaning Phoenix needs to hold its own in a very tight Western Conference without him. The Suns currently sit fourth with both Golden State and the L.A. Clippers one game behind them, and a poor run of form could find them scrambling to avoid a play-in game.

Phoenix beat the Bucks the last time these two teams played, but Giannis was out of Milwaukee’s lineup for that game. The Bucks are 20-2 since the middle of January, and their star player comes into this games after scoring 46 points against the Sacramento Kings last night.

I’m comfortable picking the Bucks for their 50th win of the season, even with the potential that either Giannis or Jrue Holiday could sit for the game. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the lineups when I place my NBA parlay picks tonight, but rounding this one out with the Bucks at -1.5 feels good.

Leg-4 Parlay Pick: Milwaukee Bucks -1.5 (-115)
