The Dallas Stars and Vegas Golden Knights will meet in the Western Conference Finals on Friday night, opening their best-of-7 series in Las Vegas. These two teams last played on April 8 in Dallas, when the Stars won 2-1 in an overtime shootout to complete their regular-season sweep of the Golden Knights. Having won all three of those matchups, the Stars have confidence on their side going into Game 1. However, the Golden Knights will have their home crowd behind them. Since the winner advances to the Stanley Cup Final, this series will be action-packed and one to watch.

Best NHL Same-Game Parlay Picks Friday for Stars vs Golden Knights Game 1: 3-Leg Parlay Picks (+850)

Total Goals

Dallas and Vegas each won a high-scoring series in the last playoff round. With nearly every game hitting the over in both Western Conference semifinals, we’re going to expect that high scoring to continue, at least in Game 1. Because Game 1 is usually a feeling-out game for both teams before adjustments can be made, I’m definitely expecting a bunch of goals on Friday night. In Vegas’ last series, the Edmonton Oilers averaged 33.1 shots on goal per game against the Golden Knights -- including 40 shots on goal in Game 6. Meanwhile, Dallas’ second-round opponent, the Seattle Kraken, averaged 28.2 shots on goal and had 44 shots in Game 1. The point I’m trying to make is that, yes, the Golden Knights and the Stars both prevailed and advanced, but their defenses were exposed. If that continues in this series, expect to see a lot of goals.

Leg-1 SGP Pick: Over 5.5 goals (-115)
Tyler Seguin Anytime Goal

Center Tyler Seguin has been a vital piece of this Dallas Stars offense all season long. Seguin had a great opening round for the Stars -- scoring four goals in their series against the Minnesota Wild. Despite all the Dallas scoring in Round 2 against the Kraken, Seguin only managed one goal in that series. Since he’s due for a goal and had much success against the Golden Knights during the regular season, I like Seguin to get one in the back of the net in what should be a tough road environment on Friday night. In three regular-season matchups against Vegas this season, Seguin only scored once, but he had 18 shots on goal. He will have no problem getting good shots in this series and will convert his attempts.

Leg-2 SGP Pick: Tyler Seguin anytime goal scorer (+260)

Jack Eichel Anytime Goal

The former second overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft has been a key player and leader for the Golden Knights since he was acquired by Vegas last year. Eichel was his team’s second-leading goal-scorer this season and now leads Vegas with six postseason goals. Eichel has had an impressive playoffs so far and will look to continue that momentum on Friday night by delivering a victory in front of the Knights’ home crowd. He played in two of Vegas’ three regular-season matchups against the Stars and scored one goal. Just as Seguin had success against Vegas, Eichel had a lot of success against the Stars defense -- firing nine shots on goal over the two games. Look for Eichel to find the back of the net on Friday night.

Leg 3-SGP Pick: Jack Eichel anytime goal scorer (+135)
