NFL betting picks: Best bets for Eagles vs Cowboys

Amari Cooper over 70.5 receiving yards -115
Cooper plays much better at home than away. Last season, he averaged 80.8 yards at home and 58.5 on the road. The gap was even wider during the 2019 season, as he averaged 108.6 yards at home and 40 yards away.
This trend holds true in Cooper’s three home games against the Eagles as a member of the Cowboys. He has totaled over 100 yards in each of the three games, and he has a great chance to do it again tonight.
Tony Pollard over 2.5 receptions +105
Pollard exploded for the Cowboys last week and earned more snaps. He has totaled over 2.5 receptions in each game this season.
With the spread close, this game should be competitive throughout, which is good for the over on this prop, since the Cowboys won’t be able to simply lean into the running game and milk the clock. Pollard will again be the change-of-pace guy, adding some electricity to this backfield.
Ezekiel Elliott to score a touchdown -130
While Pollard has earned more snaps, Elliott is the clear favorite to score a touchdown.
With the projected game total of 51.5, there will be a lot of scoring and Elliott should get the first crack at goal line and red zone touches. He averages 2.5 red zone looks per game, which is tied for the most on the team with Cooper.
Half-time/full-time: Cowboys/Cowboys +105
If you believe the Cowboys will win the game tonight, betting on them to lead at the half as well is a good way to get more lucrative odds. Dallas has been a stronger first-half offense this season, averaging 15 points (tied for ninth in the NFL). The Eagles have averaged just nine.
The rowdy Dallas crowd will bring the energy, which is a big reason why we have seen the Cowboys put up major points at home over the years. With this being their home opener and Dak Prescott’s first home game since October of last season, the crowd will lose their minds when they see their franchise quarterback and help this team off to a fast start.
