Who is favorite to win NFL MVP?

Aaron Rodgers looks likely to win the fourth MVP award of his career following the conclusion of the 2021 NFL regular season.

The quarterback led the Green Bay Packers to a 13-4 record on the year, good enough to claim the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a bye into the divisional round of the playoffs.

Rodgers is the -500 favorite with Betway in the NFL odds to win MVP for the second season in a row.

NFL MVP odds

The only other player that looks to have a realistic chance of being voted MVP for the 2021 season is Tom Brady, who steered the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 13-4 record and No. 2 seed in the NFC. Brady also led the NFL in passing yards and touchdowns, and is currently +400 in the betting.

Third favorite is Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who is coming off a record-breaking regular season. Kupp became the first player to secure the receiving triple crown since 2005, leading the league in receptions (145), yards (1,947) and touchdowns (16). Despite those achievements, it would take a miracle for voters to crown Kupp the MVP, with his odds currently sitting at +2000.

Aaron Rodgers -500

Tom Brady +400

Cooper Kupp +2000

Joe Burrow +2500

Jonathan Taylor +3300

Josh Allen +6600

Patrick Mahomes +6600

NFL MVP sleepers

With the regular season over, it is impossible to name any sleepers for the MVP, with just two names realistically in the mix for the award, which will be announced ahead of the Super Bowl.

If you’re inclined to place a bet on MVP at this point, there is little point in backing Rodgers at his current prohibitive odds. Instead, Brady could be worth a small punt at +400 odds on the Betway sportsbook.

Brady is coming off one of the best statistical seasons of his career, and off-field issues involving Rodgers this season could potentially put some voters off.

Who is NFL MVP now?

The current NFL MVP is Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers took home his third MVP title in 2020, after winning in 2011 and 2014.

NFL teams with the most MVP winners

The Packers hold the record for the most MVP winners with nine. Five separate players have won the award for the Green Bay franchise.

Some people claim the Indianapolis Colts hold the record with 10 MVPs, but that includes disputed awards before 1961, the year that the Associated Press officially handed out the first MVP award.

NFL teams with no MVP winners

There are seven active NFL franchises that have never produced an MVP – New York Jets, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals, Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Who is favorite to win NFL MVP?

Aaron Rodgers has overhauled Tom Brady as the odds-on favorite to win the NFL MVP award after Week 16 of the 2021 season.

Brady had been looking locked in to win the fourth regular season MVP award of his career, but after a quiet couple of weeks in which he has thrown just one TD, the Tampa Bay quarterback is now third in the betting at +750.

Rodgers, meanwhile, is now the -175 favorite with Betway in the NFL odds to win his second successive and fourth overall MVP award. He has taken Green Bay to a 12-3 record, the best in the NFL, and leads the league in passer rating at 110.8.

NFL MVP odds

Rodgers' closest current rival for the 2021 MVP award is Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (+600), who is bidding to become the first rusher to win the crown since Adrian Peterson in 2012.

The only other player shorter than +1000 to win the award is Brady, who is currently +750 in the betting.

Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen are both priced at +1200, while Dak Prescott and wide receiver Cooper Kupp are out at +1800.

Aaron Rodgers -175

Jonathan Taylor +600

Tom Brady +750

Patrick Mahomes +1200

Josh Allen +1200

Cooper Kupp +1800

Dak Prescott +1800

Joe Burrow +3300

Matthew Stafford +5000

Justin Herbert +6600

Kyler Murray +20000

NFL MVP sleepers

It's hard to pick sleepers at this point in the season, and it very much feels like Rodgers' award to lose at this point, with the Packers facing a favorable schedule to end the year.

That being said, one player it may be worth taking a punt on is Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is +1200 on the Betway sportsbook to win MVP.

After a terrible start to the season, Mahomes has led the Chiefs to eight straight wins and another playoff berth. They could end the season on a 10-game win streak that would put their star man in the MVP conversation.

Josh Allen is another interesting option to look at, with the Buffalo Bills quarterback also priced at +1200.

Allen threw for three TDs and 314 yards in a huge Week 16 win over the New England Patriots that took the Bills back to the top of the AFC East.

NFL MVP best bets

Aaron Rodgers -175

The return on backing Rodgers at this point isn't great, but with just two games remaining in the season, he is in pole position to win a second consecutive MVP.

Jonathan Taylor +600

Taylor is having an unbelievable season and has given himself a real chance of emulating the likes of Adrian Peterson and LaDainian Tomlinson in winning MVP as a running back. He's worth a shot with the Colts facing the Raiders and Jaguars in their final two games of the year.

Who is favorite to win NFL MVP?

Tom Brady is the now the odds-on favorite to win the NFL MVP award after Week 14 of the 2021 season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is priced at -175 with Betway in the NFL odds to claim the fourth regular season MVP award of his career.

Four straight wins, including an overtime victory over the Buffalo Bills in Week 14, have taken the defending Super Bowl champions to a 10-3 record at the top of the NFC South.

NFL MVP odds

Brady's seven closest rivals for the 2021 MVP award are all quarterbacks.

Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers currently sits second in the betting at +500. Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is third at +1200.

Dak Prescott, Patrick Mahomes and Matthew Stafford are all priced at +1400, with Justin Herbert now in to +1600. Josh Allen, previously the favorite in the betting, has drifted to +2000.

Tom Brady -175

Aaron Rodgers +500

Kyler Murray +1200

Dak Prescott +1400

Patrick Mahomes +1400

Matthew Stafford +1400

Justin Herbert +1600

Josh Allen +2000

Jonathan Taylor +2000

Cooper Kupp +5000

Lamar Jackson +6600

Kirk Cousins +10000

Joe Burrow +10000

Derek Carr +10000

Ryan Tannehill +10000

Jalen Hurts +10000

Mac Jones +10000

NFL MVP sleepers

After three wins and 11 TDs in his last four games, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is now firmly in the picture as a potential MVP winner.

Herbert is currently +1600 on the Betway sportsbook to win the award, and should he reel off a few more wins to take the Chargers to the top of the AFC West come playoff time, that price is sure to shorten.

Kyler Murray is another potential sleeper in this market. His price has lengthened to +1200 after a Week 14 loss to the Rams, but Murray is a dual-threat quarterback for one of the NFL's best teams, which will help his cause.

If he steadies the ship in Week 15 and takes the Cardinals to a division title, Murray will undoubtedly be in the MVP conversation despite his injury troubles this season.

NFL MVP best bets

Aaron Rodgers +500

The reigning MVP is heating up nicely as we head towards the playoffs, with Rodgers throwing for 10 TDs in his last three games for the Packers, who are dominating the NFC North.

Kyler Murray +1200

Now may be a good time to back Murray for MVP after his odds lengthened following a loss in Week 14. Should he lead the Cardinals to their first NFC West title since 2015, Murray has a good shot at his first MVP award.

Who is favorite to win NFL MVP?

Tom Brady is the clear favorite to win the NFL MVP award after Week 13 of the 2021 season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is priced at +175 with Betway in the NFL odds to claim a fourth regular season MVP.

Three straight wins have taken the defending Super Bowl champions to a 9-3 record at the top of the NFC South.

NFL MVP odds

Brady's closest contenders for MVP this year are all quarterbacks.

Aaron Rodgers is currently second in the betting at +600, with Kyler Murray just behind him at +750.

Josh Allen, previously the favorite for the award, is at +1000. Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes are priced at +1200 and +1400 respectively.

Tom Brady +175

Aaron Rodgers +600

Kyler Murray +750

Josh Allen +1000

Dak Prescott +1200

Patrick Mahomes +1400

Jonathan Taylor +1600

Matthew Stafford +1600

Justin Herbert +1800

Lamar Jackson +2500

Cooper Kupp +4000

Kirk Cousins +6600

Joe Burrow +8000

Derek Carr +10000

Ryan Tannehill +10000

Jalen Hurts +10000

James Conner +10000

Mac Jones +10000

NFL MVP sleepers

Indianapolis Colts star Jonathan Taylor is staking a strong claim to be the first running back to win the MVP award since Adrian Peterson in 2012.

Following a five-touchdown performance in Week 11, Taylor has reeled off two more games with at least one score, taking his touchdown streak to 10 games.

He is currently seventh in the betting at +1600 on the Betway sportsbook, and could be worth a punt if he keeps getting into the end zone and the Colts make the playoffs.

At a shorter price, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has made a move up the market following his return from injury in Week 13.

After a few weeks out, Murray led the Cards to a comfortable win against the Chicago Bears, throwing for two TDs and rushing for another two.

He is now in to +750 to win MVP. If he continues to put in some big performances for a team that are widely regarded as the best in the league, he could win his first MVP come January.

Another quarterback who has shot up the rankings is Patrick Mahomes (+1400), who has overseen a resurgence for the Kansas City Chiefs following a slow start to the season.

Five straight wins have taken the Chiefs to the top of the AFC West with an 8-4 record, and Mahomes has a legitimate shot at MVP should he continue that run to the end of the season.

NFL MVP best bets

Kyler Murray +750

After four weeks out, Murray reminded everyone of his talents with a four-touchdown performance in Week 13 against the Bears. Should he take the Cardinals to the best regular season record in the NFL, he is surely in with a shout.

Patrick Mahomes +1400

Mahomes and the Chiefs endured a terrible start to the season but now look back to their best following five consecutive wins. If the Chiefs can keep their run going and Mahomes plays well, he could snatch a second MVP award.

[November 23]

Who is favorite to win NFL MVP?

A familiar face is leading the race for the NFL MVP award.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is currently +300 with Betway in the NFL odds to win the fourth regular season MVP award of his career.

Brady has led the Bucs to a 7-3 record, including a 5-0 record at the Raymond James Stadium, as they sit top of the NFC South.

Brady last won NFL MVP in 2017 when he took the New England Patriots to a 13-3 record on the way to Super Bowl LII, where they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles.

NFL MVP odds

As usual, the NFL MVP odds are dominated by quarterbacks.

Behind Brady is Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills (+600), Matthew Stafford of the LA Rams (+1000), Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers (+1000) and Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys (+1000).

Other quarterbacks in the race include Patrick Mahomes (+1200), Kyler Murray (+1200), Justin Herbert (+1200), and Lamar Jackson (+1400).

Tom Brady +300

Josh Allen +600

Matthew Stafford +1000

Aaron Rodgers +1000

Dak Prescott +1000

Patrick Mahomes +1200

Kyler Murray +1200

Justin Herbert +1200

Lamar Jackson +1400

Jonathan Taylor +2000

Cooper Kupp +2500

Kirk Cousins +4000

Joe Burrow +6000

Ryan Tannehill +6000

James Conner +10000

Austin Ekeler +10000

Jalen Hurts +10000

Teddy Bridgewater +10000

NFL MVP sleepers

After a five-touchdown game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 11, Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (+2000) has shot up the MVP odds on the Betway sportsbook.

With Derrick Henry out of the race after his foot injury, Taylor represents the best chance for a running back to win the award since Adrian Peterson in 2012.

Looking further down the market, there are a couple of longer-priced quarterbacks who could be considered sleepers.

Joe Burrow (+6000) got the Cincinnati Bengals back on track with a 32-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11, going 20/29 with 1 TD and no turnovers.

The Bengals (6-4) are just one game behind the Ravens at the top of the AFC North, and should Burrow lead them to their first division title since 2015, he could sneak into the conversation.

Jalen Hurts (+10000), meanwhile, underlined his potential with a starring performance against the New Orleans Saints in Week 11, rushing for three touchdowns while giving up no turnovers.

Should Hurts take the Eagles to the top of the NFC East, which would be a tough ask, while going over 1,000 yards rushing, he could be a legitimate long shot for the award.

NFL MVP best bets

Josh Allen +600

Allen has been the MVP favorite for much of the 2021 season, but dropped behind Brady following the Bills’ loss to the Colts. Should he take the Bills to the AFC East title, the dual-threat quarterback is a great bet to win his first MVP award.

Patrick Mahomes +1200

After a shaky start to the season, Mahomes has looked more like his old self in recent weeks as the Chiefs have reeled off four straight wins to go top of the AFC West. Mahomes is behind only Brady for passing yards and touchdowns this season.
