Best NFL Bets Week 12: Odds, Picks and Predictions

Bears vs Jets Odds, Spread, Moneyline, Over/Under - NFL Betting Lines Week 12

Moneyline: Chicago Bears ML (+200), New York Jets ML (-240)
Spread: Chicago Bears +6, New York Jets -6
Total: Over/Under 38.5 points

Bears vs Jets Predictions and Pick

The New York Jets defense is for real. As for quarterback Zach Wilson, he’s just two fingers over the nose and his benching was a much-needed move by head coach Robert Saleh. The Jets had two total yards in the second half of last week’s game against the New England Patriots. TWO total yards. They lost 10-3 on a kick return with five seconds remaining and, when Wilson was asked if he let his defense down, he said no. His ego sucks, he sucks and the Zach Wilson era is hopefully over.

Fourth-year quarterback Mike White will make the start on Sunday against the Bears, and the bar has been set very low. White will have no problem exceeding two total yards in the second half. The Chicago Bears defense is also not that good as they allow an average of 339.5 yards and 24.5 points per game to opposing offenses.

As for the Jets defense, they’re much more stingy as they allow 18.6 points per game to opposing offenses and have shut down opposing quarterbacks like Josh Allen and Aaron Rodgers this season. Now, while those two are significantly better than Bears quarterback Justin Fields, his dual-threat mobility will cause problems for this Jets defense and they will struggle to slow this red-hot offense down. The Bears offense has averaged 29.6 points per game over their past five games and Fields has averaged 110.4 rushing yards per game during that stretch.

While I’m still unsure on how the Jets offense will show up against a soft Bears defense, I do know that the Bears offense will continue to perform in this one and, while the Jets defense has been stingy to opposing offenses, this is a great buy-low spot for the Bears team total here.

The Pick: Chicago Bears Total Points: Over 16.5 (-110)

Bengals vs Titans Odds, Spread, Moneyline, Over/Under - NFL Betting Lines Week 12

Moneyline: Cincinnati Bengals ML (-150), Tennessee Titans (+130)
Spread: Cincinnati Bengals -2.5, Tennessee Titans +2.5
Total: Over/Under 43.5 points

Bengals vs Titans Predictions

The Cincinnati Bengals received great news this week as they’ll get their star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase back. He will provide an instant boost to an offense that’s been absolutely rolling lately as they put up 42 and 37 points in their last two games. During that two game stretch, quarterback Joe Burrow was only sacked three times. Protecting Burrow has been an issue this season - in games where he’s been sacked more than five times, the Bengals are 0-3 with an average of 16.6 points per game.

The last time these two teams met was in the playoffs last year and the Titans defense sacked Burrow nine times. The Bengals were able to escape with a 19-16 victory but they will not be that fortunate this time. The Titans are starting to get healthier as linebacker Bud Dupree and safety Amani Hooker, who’s missed the last three games with a shoulder injury, will return this week. Defensive end Jeffery Simmons was limited at practice and is expected to play, and cornerback Kristian Fulton, who left the Packers game with a hamstring injury, was limited in practice but should play as well.

The Titans have the best coach in football in Mike Vrabel and have the best running back in football in Derrick Henry. This team is disrespected every week and are three-point underdogs at home. Don’t be a fool and take advantage of the Black Friday deal on this one. Plus money on the Titans moneyline is my favorite play of the week.

The Pick: Tennessee Titans ML (+130)

Packers vs Eagles Odds, Spread, Moneyline, Over/Under - NFL Betting Lines Week 12

Moneyline: Green Bay Packers ML (+255), Philadelphia Eagles (-305)
Spread: Green Bay Packers +6.5, Philadelphia Eagles -6.5
Total: Over/Under 46 points

Packers vs Eagles Predictions and Pick

After starting the season 8-0, the Philadelphia Eagles have really came back to earth by scoring just 19 points per game in their last two. And, if Colts quarterback Matt Ryan knew how to play football, this Eagles team would be heading into this Sunday night matchup at 8-2 and on a two-game losing streak. The officials did miss another clear-cut facemask penalty that would’ve extended the Colts drive in the fourth quarter, and the Eagles would eventually score a touchdown and escape with a win in Indianapolis.

While the Packers offense has been a shell of itself compared to recent years, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is starting to find his way, and is doing so with his rookie wide receiver Christian Watson, who has five touchdowns over his past two games. On the defensive end, the Packers have held their own as the stats don’t indicate how good this defense really is.

The Eagles offense has looked like a shell of itself in these past two games and the loss of tight end Dallas Goedert has been crucial for their passing attack. The Eagles will battle in another close game on Sunday night at Lincoln Financial. While they may squeak out a victory in this one, the Packers with the points just seems like too many for a Green Bay team that’s trending in the right direction.

The Pick: Green Bay Packers +6.5 (-105)

Best NFL Player Prop Bets: Sunday Football Week 12

Jeff WilsonThe Houston Texans defense is an absolute joke, particularly their run defense, which allows a league-high 178.9 rushing yards a game and is the laughing stock of the NFL.

When we think of the Dolphins, we think about their lethal passing attack with wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but Wilson is still a very talented running back. The Dolphins backfield has been a cluttered mess this season and it’s really been someone different each week. But, before the bye week, Wilson was their bell cow, and will be their bell cow again this Sunday.

Not only will he have a big rushing yard day but he will find the end zone as well.

The Pick: Jeff Wilson anytime touchdown scorer (-120)

Derrick HenryThis is a man on a mission for another 2,000-plus yard rushing season and, with seven games remaining, he’s got a very good chance of getting there.

Henry also leads all Titans players with 32 red zone opportunities this season, and has scored twice in three games already this season.

Not only do I think Henry finds the end zone once, I think he finds it twice. The Bengals run defense is middle of the road, but we’re talking about King Henry here.

The Pick: Derrick Henry to score 2 or more touchdowns (+280)

Russell WilsonWhat a disappointing season this man has had and, as a result, the Denver Broncos have had a disappointing season as well. Luckily for the Broncos and Wilson, they now get a Panthers defense that’s played very poorly at times this year.

With Jerry Jeudy potentially returning this week, I think Wilson finally shows up. Despite only have seven total passing touchdowns on the season and only exceeding one passing touchdown in one game - back in Week 4 when he threw for two passing touchdowns against the Las Vegas Raiders - Wilson has yet to look like himself.

He gets back to himself on Sunday against the Panthers.

The Pick: Russell Wilson over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+170)
