Best College Football Bets Week 13: Picks, Predictions & Schedules

College Football Schedule Week 13 – Oregon @ Oregon State

College Football Season 2022 Game
Oregon State Beavers (9-2, 4-0 Away) vs Oregon Ducks (8-3, 4-1 Home)
Date: 26th November 2022
Time: 3:30p.m. EST
Venue: Reser Stadium - Corvallis, Oregon
TV Channel: ABC
Live Stream: Fubo TV
Live Radio: SiriusXM

The Oregon Ducks faced a strong Utah team last weekend as they looked to bounce back from a disappointing loss against Washington. I had expected the offense to propel the team to a win, but it was in fact Oregon's defense that made all the difference in the game.

Oregon played well against the run, holding Tavion Thomas to just 2.9 yards per carry on 19 attempts, and forced three turnovers from quarterback Cameron Rising. The win puts Oregon at 9-2, and while the College Football Playoff might be out of reach, a win against rival Oregon State would contribute to Oregon's place in one of the nation’s premium-tier Bowl games.

Oregon State has been on a strong run in their last two games after they also lost to the Washington Huskies. Since that loss, the Beavers have scored 34.5 points per game and only allowed 8.5 in wins against both California and Arizona State.

Oregon vs Oregon State Odds, Spread, Over/Under, Moneyline - College Football Odds Week 13

Moneyline: Oregon -155, Oregon State +135

Spread: Oregon -3, Oregon State +3

Total: Over/Under 58 points

Oregon vs Oregon State Predictions & Pick

Oregon State’s offense has been heavily focused around freshman running back Damien Martinez in recent weeks, with the budding star carrying the football an average 21.5 times in the Beavers' last four games. Martinez has five touchdowns in that same time frame, including a breakout performance and three touchdowns against Colorado.

Oregon did a good job containing the run against Utah and will need to carry that performance into this Oregon rivalry if they want to come out on top. The Oregon Ducks defense constructed one of their best games of the season and, with that momentum, I would like to see them hold off Oregon State, allowing Bo Nix and the offense to go out and put the game out of reach.

The Pick: Oregon -3 (-110)

I like the under in this one. If Oregon’s defense shows up the way they did against Utah, 24 points would be enough to win the game. The key is keeping Oregon State's run game contained.

The Pick: Under 58 Points (-110)

CFB Schedule Week 13 – Notre Dame @ USC

College Football Season 2022 Game
Notre Dame Fighting Irish (10-1, 4-1 Away) vs. USC Trojans (8-3, 4-2 Home)
Date: 26th November 2022
Time: 7:30p.m. EST
Venue: LA Memorial Coliseum - Los Angeles, California
TV Channel: NBC
Live Stream: Fubo TV
Live Radio: SiriusXM

The USC Trojans have been in fine form lately and find themselves on the cusp of the college football playoff as a result. The Trojans would be 11-0 had it not been for a two-point conversion from Utah in the dying moments of their matchup back in October.

Notre Dame’s season started out a little turbulent, but the Fighting Irish are now on a five-game win streak capped off by a 44-0 win over Boston College last weekend.

Notre Dame vs USC Odds, Spread, Over/Under, Moneyline - CFB Odds Week 13

Moneyline: Notre Dame Fighting Irish +180, USC Trojans -210

Spread: Notre Dame +5.5, USC -5.5

Total: Over/Under 64.5 points

Notre Dame vs USC Predictions & Pick

Notre Dame’s 44-0 win against Boston College will have given them a very genuine confidence boost as they head to Memorial Stadium to face the Trojans. That said, USC is a different beast offensively.

The Trojans are the No. 3 team in the country in points per game (42.9), third in yards per game (513), and fourth in passing yards per game (330). They’ll pose quite the test for the Fighting Irish. Quarterback Caleb Williams has thrown 33 touchdowns this season to just three interceptions, and Notre Dame marks the final opportunity for USC to stake their claim for the college football playoff.

I’ll take USC’s moneyline this time around. I believe they’ll win, but the spread feels like a trap play. It’s a far safer bet to pick the moneyline on this one.

The Pick: USC Moneyline (-210)

USC has been an excellent bet this season. They’re 7-4 against the spread, but better yet, 8-3 covering the over. Notre Dame’s shut out against Boston College is a red flag, admittedly, but USC is a very overpowering offense and have only been held to less than 40 points twice this season.

The two teams combined are 10-0 when covering the over in the last five weeks. Both teams are on a five-game win streak in that category, which screams bet the over.

The Pick: Over 64.5 Points

College Football Schedule Week 13 – Michigan @ Ohio State

College Football Season 2022 Game
Michigan Wolverines (11-0, 3-0 Away) vs. Ohio State Buckeyes (11-0, 7-0 Home)
Date: 26th November 2022
Time: 12:00p.m. EST
Venue: Ohio Stadium - Columbus, Ohio
TV Channel: FOX
Live Stream: Fubo TV, Hulu+
Live Radio: SiriusXM

This is the signature game of the weekend’s slate. The Michigan Wolverines head to Columbus to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes with both sides undefeated and currently ranked in the top three.

The two sides are both expected to be playoff teams, in a game that could easily be replicated in the playoffs in just a few weeks’ time. The winner of this weekend's game will head to the Big 10 Championship game as the favorite, likely against Iowa if they beat Nebraska.

Michigan vs Ohio State Odds, Spread, Over/Under, Moneyline - College Football Lines Week 13

Moneyline: Michigan Wolverines +245, Ohio State Buckeyes -295

Spread: Michigan +7.5, Ohio State -7.5

Total: Over/Under 56.5 points

Michigan vs Ohio State Predictions & Pick

I have my concerns about how this one lines up for the Wolverines. While they’re a great team and deserve their place in the college football playoff this season, they don’t match up well against Ohio State.

Buckeyes quarterback CJ Stroud has thrown 35 touchdowns to four interceptions this season, continuing the fine form he displayed in 2021. Michigan is a run-first team, and quarterback JJ McCarthy has thrown 14 touchdowns as a result. Michigan's run game is remarkable. They’re fourth in the country in rushing yards per game and Blake Corum is undoubtedly quite the prospect, but how does that game plan match up against Ohio State’s defense?

Ohio State is ranked 15th in the nation in run defense, a similar situation to the one Michigan just battled through against Illinois, whose defense is seventh against the run. Ohio State can do enough to slow down Blake Corum and the Michigan game plan, and when the Wolverines are trailing the game and have to put their fate in JJ McCarthy’s hands, they could come up short.

The Pick: Ohio State -7.5 (-110)

Michigan has been a trap this season if you like betting overs. They’ve only covered three times in their 11 games and have hit three under bets in their last four games.

With this one, I’m banking on Blake Corum and the Wolverines run game stunning the Buckeyes in the first few drives of the game. I feel like this game could and should be 14-14 before the end of the first quarter, which gives me enough confidence for the over despite Michigan's horrible record this season.

The Pick: Michigan vs Ohio State Over 56.5 Points (-110)
