Jack Green's NBA predictions for Friday's game between the Jazz and Suns include the spread, points total and two player props.

Phoenix Suns (-4.5)

Phoenix can pull level with Utah at the top of the Western Conference by winning this home game on Friday night.

The Suns beat the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday to move to 44-18 for the season, and their 25-10 record against teams from the West is currently the best in the conference.

The Jazz are holding on to the top seed with a 45-17 record, but they are 3-3 since Donovan Mitchell got injured on 16 April and will find it extremely difficult to beat Phoenix on the road without their star shooting guard.

Under 220 total points

The first meeting between these two teams this season saw just 201 points scored, and the second was tied 102-102 at the end of regulation.

It’s worth backing the under again on Friday, given that these teams both rank in the top five in the NBA in defensive rating and the Jazz are without their best scorer.

Devin Booker under 26.5 points

Booker has scored over 30 points in two of his last three games, but those are also the only times he’s gone past 25 points in his last 10 contests.

The 24-year-old has shot 43.5 per cent from the field and just 27.1 per cent from three during that stretch, so it’s worth betting on the under here as Phoenix continues to spread the ball around.

Chris Paul over 7.5 assists

Speaking of spreading the ball around, Paul has been in Point God mode for the Suns this season, averaging 16.2 points and 8.7 assists per game at the age of 35.

CP3 has had at least eight assists in nine of his last 11 games, moving into the MVP conversation in the process, and he looks a safe bet for at least eight dimes again on Friday.
