Best NBA Player Prop Bets Today: Tuesday, January 24th

Bam Adebayo

In his two games against the Boston Celtics, Adebayo had 19 points and eight rebounds in his first matchup, and 23 points and six rebounds in his second matchup. In the month of January, Adebayo has been on an absolute tear as he’s had a double-double in seven out of his 10 games.

While the Celtics do bolster an 11th-ranked post defense, they rank 27th in rebounds per game as a team. Adebayo is an elite-level scorer and will find ways to get his points in this matchup, whether it be from second chance opportunities, postups or hitting the Celtics with his mid-range shot. What he will also do is grab rebounds, and likely get his eighth double-double of the month.

The Pick: Bam Adebayo over 31.5 points and rebounds (-110)

Donovan Mitchell

Donovan Mitchell started off the new year better than anyone in the NBA as he dropped 71 points on 64 per cent shooting in his first game of 2023.

While he’s sizzled off a bit in his past two games, Mitchell is looking to get back to his high-scoring ways on Tuesday night. Any time a player, especially a scorer, travels to Madison Square Garden, they want to put on a show in one of basketball’s most historic arenas.

The Knicks do boast a top-10 scoring defense and will look to slow him down, but Mitchell is one of the league’s best scorers and will definitely get his on Tuesday night.

The Pick: Donovan Mitchell over 26.5 points (-105)

Bradley Beal

Despite having other stars besides him in Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma, this Wizards team truly lives and dies by Bradley Beal. The longest tenured of the three and the only one drafted by the Wizards organization, Beal also has the fan’s hearts. While that was a nice intro for Beal, he’ll be needed much more on the road Tuesday night as Porzingis is sidelined with an ankle injury.

The Mavericks play great team defense as they rank eighth in the NBA in points allowed per game. Don’t let that scare you away, though, as they’ve been exploited this month. The Blazers scored 136 and 140 in two games against the Mavericks, and Dallas has given up more than 115 points five more times so far in January.

Without Porzingis, the Wizards will rely on Beal even more to only score but facilitate the ball and help out on the boards. The Wizards keep it close on the road and do so due to a big game from Beal.

The Pick: Bradley Beal over 33.5 points, assists and rebounds (-105)
