Best NBA Player Prop Bets Today: Thursday,  February 16th

Best Bucks Player Prop Bets TonightJrue Holiday

It would be easy to become enamored with Jrue Holiday’s 40-point night against the Boston Celtics when looking at his betting line for tonight's game against the Chicago Bulls. While tying his career high and shooting a new career high eight threes in that game, it’s important to look at it objectively.

The Celtics were without both wing defenders in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, as well as their menace of a point guard Marcus Smart. Holiday shot 12 threes in the game, and the Chicago Bulls are currently allowing one of the league's highest three point shot attempts per game, averaging 36.5 three-point attempts against them per game this season.

Although I'm not entirely enthusiastic about the total points, I believe that Jrue Holiday has a favorable opportunity to perform well from beyond the three-point line in tonight's game against Chicago. I anticipate that he will be successful in making his shots from beyond the arc, even if accurately predicting the total number of points he'll score feels like a 50/50 chance.

The Pick: Jrue Holiday Over 2.5 Three Pointers Made

Best Suns Player Prop Bets TonightDeandre Ayton

Deandre Ayton has been heating up so far in February, averaging 24.9 points per game through the first seven games of the month, with 10.6 rebounds. The Suns big center has five double-doubles in those games and has cleared 20+ points scoring in six out of seven.

The Clippers are a middle of the road team against opposition centers and points in the paint, but Ayton’s form in recent games has me looking at him favorably against his 20.5-point betting line. He’s been extremely efficient so far this month, shooting 72% from the floor and 80% from the free throw line. Ayton is a big reason for the Suns hot streak, and the team has a lot of momentum with Devin Booker returning to the lineup and Kevin Durant coming over in a deadline day trade.

I’d also happily pick the Suns center to pick up another double-double tonight, with current odds at -190 on the Betway Sportsbook.

The Pick: Deandre Ayton Over 20.5 Points (-110)

Chris Paul

Chris Paul has shot poorly from three so far in February, with a dismal 16.7% average on 3.4 attempts per game. In January the Suns guard was shooting 4.9 threes per game with a 48.7% success rate, so here’s to hoping he finds his shot from range again sometime before the playoffs.

While Devin Booker returning to the lineup may mean less three-point attempts for Chris Paul, his points total has taken a positive turn in his last three games. Paul has averaged 17 points per game in those three outings while only making a total of two threes. With his points total set at 15.5 for tonight's game against the Clippers, I find myself favoring the over.

The Clippers are allowing a league high 42.9% from three in the last ten games, which could offer an opportunity for Chris Paul to find a little rhythm from deep. Even without shooting well from three Paul’s scoring numbers are trending upwards, and if he happens to hit a couple from behind the arc, he should easily clear the 15.5-point total.

The Pick: Chris Paul over 15.5 Points (-110)

Best Wizards Player Prop Bets TonightKyle Kuzma

Kyle Kuzma has been on a run of fine form in the Wizards last few games, and his rebounding has taken a positive turn since Rui Hachimura was traded to the LA Lakers in mid-January.

The Wizards forward went from 6.8 rebounds per game in the first half of January to nine rebounds per game in the latter half of the month post Hachimura trade. In the two games that he has played more than 11 minutes in thus far in February, he has accumulated 11 and 9 rebounds respectively.

The Timberwolves are not an aggressive team on the offensive glass. In fact, both teams are bottom five in the NBA this season for offensive rebounds, and I can see Kuzma comfortably picking up at least 8 rebounds in tonight's game without the Timberwolves crashing the offensive boards.

The Pick: Kyle Kuzma Over 7.5 Rebounds (-115)
