Best NBA Player Prop Bets Today – Tuesday, February 7

Julius Randle

The big man continues to shine for the New York Knicks as Randle is averaging another double-double this season and has been a force to deal with for opposing defenses.

While I believe the Knicks will handle the Magic on Tuesday night, I think they’ll do so outside of Randle having a huge night. While he’ll still get his, this Magic team does a good job in the post as they rank seventh in the NBA in points allowed in the paint per game. Randle’s line is too high in this one.

The Pick: Julius Randle under 38.5 points and rebounds (-105)

Ja Morant

The Memphis Grizzlies are night and day when facing opponents in the Eastern Conference compared to the Western Conference this season - they’ve had much more success when facing the East. They’ll now draw a Chicago Bulls defense that ranks middle of the road in the NBA and will keep the scoring high in this one with their cast of stars on hand.

While this game does have blowout potential as the Bulls have been very inconsistent this season, I do think this one stays close and Morant will have to carry his team to a victory at home on Tuesday night. The Bulls allow the eighth most points to opposing point guards this season, which has been their achilles heel.

The Pick: Ja Morant over 43.5 points, assists and rebounds (-105)

Jamal Murray

Jamal Murray has been on a tear as of late, scoring 32 points and 33 points against the New Orleans Pelicans and the Golden State Warriors respectively, and then most recently going for 41 points against the Atlanta Hawks. He’ll now face a Timberwolves defense that allows the 11th most points in the league on Tuesday night.

While there’s no doubt that he could go for 30 again, the problem with Denver’s offense is there are a lot of mouths to feed. Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. can all go off on any night as well, which makes this Nuggets team very dangerous. However, I’m trusting Murray to keep the hot streak alive as he’s looking and playing like the Murray of old.

The Pick: Jamal Murray over 24.5 points (-125)

LeBron James

LeBron James has a chance to make history Tuesday night when the Los Angeles Lakers host the Oklahoma City Thunder. James, who’s been chasing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record since the beginning of the season, is just 36 points shy of breaking it and will do it on Tuesday night.

While many believe that Thursday night against the Milwaukee Bucks will be the night as 36 points seems like a tall task, this Thunder defense is dreadful. They allow the 10th most points per game this season and are coming off a 114-141 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Monday night. The Thunder and the Lakers have the highest total on Tuesday’s NBA slate as Vegas knows there’ll be points scored in this one.

James breaks the record and does it the right way in a high-scoring performance to remember.

The Pick: LeBron James over 32.5 points (-130)
